Abstract

The mixer tap has a base (3) which contains a chamber (6) for a mixer cartridge near the top and a lower section (14) containing water supply pipes (15, 16) and optionally drains. The two parts are connected by an intermediate section (18) and the whole tap is enclosed in a housing (22).
