Abstract

Le dispositif comporte un appareil de coupe (1) prévu pour la coupe à longueur de cordons de poils, de soies ou de fibres (2), revetus d'une bande de matière d'enveloppe, en faisceaux, touffes ou pinceaux (3). Pour que l'enveloppe (4) ne soit pas entrainée dans la zone de coupe, il est prévu, en plus d'un premier dispositif de serrage (6) se trouvant en amont de l'endroit de coupe (11), en aval de celui-ci, un second dispositif de serrage (7) qui agit, pendant la coupe, sur le faisceau, touffe ou pinceau de poils, de soies ou de fibres à séparer, de meme que sur son enveloppe. Pour une utilisation maximum de la longueur totale du cordon, il est prévu, en amont et en aval du premier dispositif de serrage, des couteaux (9, 10) agissant indépendamment l'un de l'autre.
