Een dergelijke sturing zou bij wijze van voorbeeld door de volgende computerinstrukties kunnen worden weergegeven: - zet de mespunt op de startpositie van de te snijden lijn ; - roteer de snijkop met de mespunt als centrum zover als nodig 18 om de mes-of pen-as in dezelfde lijn te brengen als de te snijden lijn ; bevestig dat deze positionering is uitgevoerd;

- de kostprijs van dergelijke konstrukties is vrij hoog ;

) Cutting device; i; SCHHJ. rVIN The scope of the invention lies in the domain of the electronically or mechanically controlled cutting devices for flat products, more specifically in the domain of the cutting tables, also referred to as cutting plots in the first case.
These cutters consist essentially of a scrap-shaped material that is cut, a steered cutting head with adjustable cutting depth, and operating devices in the form of a computer system with graphical features.
When conventional sheet material is cut in this way, we find, for example, paper, cardboard, leather, plastic films, thin metal films, as well as combinations of several of these products, such as, for example, a plastic film (vinyl film) with pressure-sensitive adhesive glued on siliconized paper for the production of stickers and vignettes.
The cutting head itself, the cutting depth of which can be finely adjusted so that in the case of multiple films, it cuts through only a desired number of films and leaves the underlying untouched, usually consists of a knife or a laser beam, or a round cutting tip. Applications are also known where it is not so much cut but rather engraved or milled and in these cases the anise head is white-coated with the corresponding machining

tool in the form of an engraving pen. a gouge, a cutter e. d.
The control equipment, usually in the form of eC: 1 computer system with graphical capabilities, can be very complex and sometimes even relfs optimize the follow-up of various pin operations so that the material loss of the products to be cut is minimized.
Such cutters are widely used in the packaging industry, the graphics world, technical offices, etc. in the design and manufacture of masks for lithography, series printing and screen printing, for publicity products such as letters, texts, logos, stickers and vignettes, in your textile and leather industry, in electronic and semiconductor applications, as well as in geodesy, photogrammetry, cartography, etc.
If the cutter is equipped with a knife, it has hitherto been necessary to control this knife head before starting a cutting operation or changing the cutting direction; this is understood to mean that the orientation of the knife is first calculated in function of the next cutting direction, then the knife itself is turned mechanically or electrically in this direction, and that only after that the current cutting operation is started.
Such a control could, for example, be represented by the following computer instructions: - set the knife tip at the start position of the line to be cut; - rotate the cutting head with the knife tip as center as far as necessary 18 to bring the knife or pin shaft in the same line as the line to be cut; confirm that this positioning has been performed;

- the cost of such constructions is quite high;
In certain cases the cutting speed is limited due to the large mass and complexity; use of one-eleventh anise head on multiple plotter:; of different types is usually not possible.
These drawbacks are overcome by using an anise equipment according to the invention and exhibiting the characteristics as shown in claims 1 and 2. The cutting blade is controlled by using the eccentric positioning of the knife tip in the cutting head and the orientation of the cutting blade is controlled by a relative movement of the plotter relative to the blade tip.
The movement of the cutting head in a certain direction is continued a little further when the end point is reached in the same direction until the eccentrically placed intersection point itself has also reached this end point. At that moment, the center of the cutting head, which also has the axis of rotation of the cutting blade, is positioned exactly as far from the end point as the distance of the knife tip from the axis of rotation is.

By way of example, cutting is shown of a self-adhesive vignette 12 which is constructed in a classical manner from a vinyl foil 8, an adhesive pressure-sensitive adhesive 9 and a base paper 10 which has been silicone-coated or can be easily removed from the film layer 9 with wax The depth control 14 of the knife 1 in the example is adjusted in such a way that the basic paper 10 is still just cut, but not through it as is the case with the vinyl film 8 and the self-adhesive glue layer 9. When the cutting head 13 is moved, the knife 1 becomes eccentric due to the interplay of the plotter's movement
