Abstract

On décrit une machine à composer (1) et un procédé pour améliorer l'aspect et l'utilisation optimale de l'espace d'une page de journal, permettant des économies sur les coûts de papier, de production et de manutention. Le texte, les valeurs des paramètres fixes et les valeurs admises des paramètres variables sont mis en mémoire dans les disques fixes 9(A) à 9(d). Des combinaisons des valeurs admises à paramètres variables sont choisies successivement pour créer automatiquement une disposition de page qui est affichée sur un micro-ordinateur 4, qui reçoit également une indication de l'utilisateur impliquant approbation ou désapprobation.
