Abstract
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé biochimique pour séparer une matière d'un milieu fluide. On introduit, dans le milieu fluide, des microbilles de verre sur la surface desquelles est fixé un agent de liaison de la dite matière, on laisse séjourner les microbilles dans le milieu fluide pendant un temps suffisant à la fixation d'une certaine quantité de la dite matière sur les microbilles. On retire les microbilles chargées de matière du milieu, on enlève des microbilles une partie au moins de la matière fixée tout en laissant l'agent de liaison sur les microbilles et on recycle les microbilles avec l'agent de liaison vers le milieu fluide. Les microbilles utilisées dans ce procédé peuvent porter une couche monomoléculaire de silane comme agent de fixation à l'agent de liaison qui est choisi pour son affinité biologique vis-à-vis de la matière à séparer.
