Abstract

Machine et procédé pour façonner des pâtons (2) dans lequel un pâton (2) est emporté par un tapis sans fin (1) circulant autour d’au moins un cylindre (3). Une toile prend appui contre le tapis lorsqu’il n’y a pas de pâton (2) pour maintenir la bande (6) tendue. Lorsque le pâton (2) vient en contact avec cette bande (6), le pâton (2) est soumis à une rotation autour d’un axe transversal par rapport à la direction de déplacement du pâton (2), cette bande (6) s’éloignant du cylindre (3) au fur et à mesure du passage du pâton (2) entre le cylindre (3) et la toile pendant qu’un contact est maintenu entre la toile et le pâton (2). Lors de ce passage du pâton (2) entre le cylindre (3) et la bande (6), la bande (6) est fournie à partir d’une réserve (12) de toile.
