La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation de mélanges solides d'hypochlorites et de chlo- rures alcalins. 



   Ce procédé consiste à mettre en suspension un hy- droxyde alcalin sec dans un liquide qui.à froid, est indif-   férent   aux composés alcalins ainsi   qu'au   chlore, et qui ne dissout pas l'hypochlorite alcalin, et à traiter cette sus-

 pension par du chlore. On peut par exemple employer dans ce but, comme liquide de suspension, le tétrachlorure de carbone. 



   On fait par exemple passer du chlore gazeux à travers une suspension refroidie d'alcali caustique sec pulvérisé dans du tétrachlorure de carbone, ou encore on ajoute à cette suspension une solution de chlore dans du tétrachlorure de carbone* Le produit de la réaction peut être séparé du liquide et de l'eau formée par la réaction, par filtration et séchage.

  1. REVENDICATION @ Procédé de préparation de mélanges solides d'hy- pochlorites et de chlorures alcalins, consistant essentiel- lement 4 faire agir du chlore sur une suspension d'un hydro- xyde alcalin sec dans un liquide indifférent ne dissolvant pas l'hypochlorite alcalin.
