BIGOUDIS.

BIGOUDIS.
The object of the invention is to make it possible to completely wind on a curler a lock of hair to be waved.
To this end, according to the invention, the part of the apparatus on which the hair is wound is made up of two branches which are constantly pushed against each other by a spring and which are pinched the end of the wick.
The invention also provides that the aforesaid spring serves at the same time to hold in place after winding the part of the device preventing the wick from unwinding.
The drawing attached to this specification shows by way of example one embodiment of the apparatus. this is a perspective view of the curlers ready for use.
We see that the part on which the nut is made. The element of the wick comprises two branches 1 and 2, articulated around a common axis 3, The branch 1 is constituted by a metal strip stamped along a half-cylinder inside which the branch 2 of generally cylindrical shape is normally pushed back by a spring 4. The two branches 5 and 6 of this spring bear respectively on the heel 7 of the branch 2 and the heel of the handle 10 of the device mounted on the pivot 11 passing through the free end.

of branch 1.
To wave a lock of hair, press the heel 7 of the branch 2 and the handle 11 so as to separate the branches 1 and 2. The end of the lock is placed between them, we stop exerting the pressure, the wick is wound and the handle 10 is folded around the pivot 11 as far as against the branch 1, the branch 6 of the spring constantly pressing on the heel 9 of the handle 10, the wick cannot unwind.
It is obvious that the invention is not limited exclusively to the embodiment shown in the drawing and that many modifications of detail can be introduced therein without departing from the scope of the present invention.
CLAIMS.
