Improvement to amplified sounds.
The present invention relates to an improvement to sound amplifiers, and in particular to horn amplifiers. Its main object is to provide a means by which an earphone, or a pair of earphones or the like, can be fitted to the horn so as to increase the volume of sound.
The accompanying drawing shows: fig.l, a perspective view of the horn of the invention; fig.2, a vertical section of the horn; fig.3, a cross section taken on line 3-3 of figure 2; fig.4, a perspective view of one of the wedging elements.
In a box 5 with bottom 6 is contained a sound chamber consisting of a central tubular element 7 aligned with the hole 8 drilled in the bottom 6.
Through the hole 8 passes the end 9 of a part 11 to which an earphone or sound reproducing device is attached.
Our end of the tubular element 7 and the end 9 of the fastening element 11 is disposed a rubber connector.

chouc 12. The end 9 is fixed in the hole 8 by means of wedges - or joints 13 and 14, of the kind indicated in figure 4.
To the tubular body is fixed a bell 16 which has its free edge in the periphery of a ring 17 applied to the front of the box 5 (Figure 1).
Blocks 18 hold the bell 16 which is fixed to it by means of screws 19.
At 21 we see a transverse piece which is also attached to the blocks 18 by screws 22 and in the center of which is fixed a deflector 23 pierced with a hole 24. no reinforcing crossbars 26 equally spaced are fixed. on the part 21 installer and are used to hold the deflector in place.
By this construction, when the amplifier is attached to the element 11, the musical sounds or the sound waves reproduced therein pass through the element 11, arrive in the tubular body 7, from where they arrive at the deflector. 23 which returns them, through the hole 24, into the bell 16 to be dispersed from there in the ambient air.
By this construction we have the means to make a long trip to the sound waves in a very small space.
The embodiment shown is subject to various changes as the material employed, the elm and the arrangement of the parts, without thereby derogating from the principle of the invention as specified in the summary herein. - , near.
