Le dessin annexé montre, à seul titre d'exemple, plusieurs modes d'exécution, qui diffèrent entre eux pour le type du système radial de connexion, qui est a disque dans le cas de fig.1, à rais métalliques dans le cas de fig.2, à rais de bois, dans le cas de fig.3 et pour la manière de constitution du sys- tème 'd'attache à couronne par rapport à l'ensemble radial et par conséquent pour la façon d'attache à l'âme métallique du bandage;
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Dans les modes d'exécution représentés aux figures 10 à 15 on a encore un système à couronne double, analogue aux précédents, mais les couronnes sont disposées de manière à s'adapter aux bords intérieurs ou extérieurs prédisposés dans l'âme 15 portant le bandage et sur ces bords latéraux 17-18 est exécutée la connexion par les riveta 16. Dans les modes d'exécution représentés aux figures 16 à 18 le système à couron- ne est simple, obtenu par repliement d'un seul disque radial de connexion avec le moyeu;

¯¯¯ t., ¯¯¯¯¯ BBEÏFECTIONNEMENTS AUX VEEIOULES WHEELS by the Company known as: Sociéta Italiana PIRELLI à M 1 1 A N The present invention relates to wheels for

motor vehicles with solid rubber tires, elastic and semi-pneumatic type. Its object is to eliminate the excessive weight of the types of wheels known heretofore, in which the rubber tire is mounted on the rim, while retaining all the necessary strength.
It is characterized in that the metal reinforcement, constituting the annular core of the rubber tire, is directly applied and fixed, without the interposition of a rim, on a suitable attachment system with crown, predisposed on the radial assembly that connects the tire of the wheel to the hub.
The appended drawing shows, by way of example only, several embodiments, which differ from each other for the type of the radial connection system, which is a disc in the case of fig. 1, with metal spokes in the case of fig. 2, with wooden spokes, in the case of fig. 3 and for the manner of constitution of the sys- tem of attachment to the crown with respect to the radial assembly and consequently for the manner of attachment to the metal core of the bandage;
as shown in figures 4 to 21.-
In each of the first three embodiments shown, the rubber tire 1, of any type, is
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
mounted as usual on the metal crown 2, which forms what is called the core. This crown is directly mounted on a fastening system, formed as appropriate, or by a simple edge. folded 3 in the disc wheels 4 (fig. 1); or by a set of terminal expansions, or protrusions 5 of the metal lines 6 (fig.2); pu by flat caps 7 placed at the end of the wooden spokes 8 (fig.3). The crown can be fixed to said attachment system by means of the bolts 9 suitably distributed, or any other equivalent arrangement.
In the embodiments shown in FIGS. 4 to 9, the crown attachment system is double, since the radial assembly for connection to the hub is double. This system

ent obtained, completely removed one op11nt the 1ntd1 or outside the edges 13-14 of the discs 11-12 which constitute the radial assembly, so as to make them able to adapt to the inner surface of the core 15 carrying the bandage, on which the connection is made, using rivets 16.
This folding can be done so as to reinforce the edge in several different ways (fig. 6 to 9).
In the embodiments shown in Figures 10 to 15 there is also a double crown system, similar to the previous ones, but the crowns are arranged so as to adapt to the inner or outer edges predisposed in the core 15 carrying the tire. and on these side edges 17-18 is made the connection by rivet 16. In the embodiments shown in Figures 16 to 18 the crown system is simple, obtained by folding a single radial connection disc with the hub;
this crown can be radial, and in this case the connection with the core 15 which carries the tire can be obtained by the angles 19 (fig. 16-17); or can be with a ring joined in the usual way to the core 15 (fig.19).
