par son orifice de sortie, directement sur la paroi postérieu- re du bac de chasse et sur le mur auquel est fixé le bac, et peut donc être relié à un tuyau de descente sans la sinuosité habituelle de la partie supérieure, c-a-d en ligne droite, de sorte que l'eau n'est pas gênée dans son écoulement et descend et lave avec plus de force ou plus rapidement, de sorte qu'un nettoyage parfait de la cuvette du water-closet est garanti;

<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>

Flush, with angled siphon.
The present invention relates to a flush for water closets and other uses, provided with an angled siphon whose small branch communicates with the content of the flushing tank immediately above the bottom, and the large branch directly with the downpipe; in the small branch of the siphon opens an injection pipe with the help of which, thanks to the water jet which comes out of it, the liquid is raised in the small branch and, by the elbow, towards the large branch , so that a suction effect is obtained in the siphon and that the hunting is thus activated.
The object of the invention is to create an apparatus for cleaning water closets which can be put into action in an extremely simple, safe, fast, silent and very convenient manner while the water consumption is minimal and the water consumption. The flush cannot leak or freeze when the water line is shut off and the contents of the flush pan are drained.
This arrangement makes it possible to obtain economically valuable and efficient actions which are not in contradiction with the police regulations concerning constructions and satis -

also do under the conditions imposed by the specialists to such installations.
The invention consists mainly in that the siphon is established so that its line of symmetry approximately coincides with that of the flushing tank, the rear wall of the tank to be fixed to the wall being alone vertical or approximately vertical, while the other walls of the tank are inclined on the bottom up to around the orifice of the suction tube, in a straight line, with inflection, in a convex shape or in such a way that the surface of the bottom corresponds approximately at the cross-sectional area of the suction pipe opening. The injection pipe is preferably introduced from above, by a pipe passing through the contents of the tank, in said tank or in the suction pipe and connected to the water pipe by a water distribution tap. snap button and self-closing.
By the new position or shape of the angled siphon, a flushing effect is obtained with a lower water consumption than it has been hitherto, a shorter path for a fast and free flow of water , starting from the level of the water contained in the tank, along the inclined walls to the orifice of the siphon, from where the water arrives also advantageously and rapidly at the orifice of out of the flushing tank, while, thanks to the new particularly small bottom surface, the amount of water remaining after the flow

is so minimal that it tl'dsL more ù uruliltlru to see uo go], or lia flush.
In addition, the inclination of the walls results in a symmetrical, elegant and practical shape and construction, which can be obtained with little material, few elements, little assembly, etc. by casting or cooking, easily and inexpensively. The siphon and the siphon can be poured or fired, in one piece, or the siphon, as well as the injection pipe, can be connected to the sump above the water level, so that the flushing tank is always free from leaks.
The siphon drain tube is located,

by its outlet, directly on the rear wall of the hunting tank and on the wall to which the tank is attached, and can therefore be connected to a downpipe without the usual sinuosity of the upper part, ie in a straight line , so that the water is not obstructed in its flow and descends and washes with more force or more quickly, so that a perfect cleaning of the water closet bowl is guaranteed;

However, it is permissible to introduce donations in the tank, through an orifice in the bottom I, tunt le. flow tube 5 than the injection tube 10, and seal in the usual way.
As already mentioned, the anterior and posterior walls 3 of the flushing tank are inclined on the bottom, so that the bottom surface is only a little larger than the cross-sectional area of the orifice. suction tube.
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
The line of symmetry of the siphon also coincides approximately with the line of symmetry of. bac and, as the dimensions of. bottom are extremely minimal, the tank is filled by the descent of water along its walls, quietly and quickly. Although the capacity of the tank is minimal, the small quantity of water produces however during its flow, a maximum effect, since there is no obstacle preventing the flow of water. . Oven this the drain tube of the siphon and the down pipe go straight to the basin, without sinuosity, directly along the back wall of the tank or along the wall.
The contents of the tank are discharged by injection, which is carried out by a pressure button membrane box 15, connected to the tank, but preferably by an injection pipe 10 connected to a water pipe and provided with a pressure button and automatic closing valve 16 because, in the use of the latter, one has unlimited quantities of injection water, which act in a more energetic manner, more persistent and faster, while, in the case of an I5 push button membrane box, the amount of injection water is limited, and its operation is longer or less convenient, especially for small children . The orifice of the injection pipe is preferably located at a low height in the suction pipe 5,
to still obtain a good effect of the siphon even in case the water level is low, To produce an effective vacuum in the siphon quickly and with little water, the water passage path is slightly narrowed in the suction tube upstream 5 or in the passage space
5a of the bend because the rising bottom wall of the suction tube rises in a straight line and is rounded only to the extent necessary for the rounding of the metal.
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
Such a narrowing of the passage space 5a is only taken into account, however, in the case of the use of the push button membrane box 15, in which case only a small amount is available. injection water.
When using an injection pipe 10 connected to a

Above the level of the water in the tank is still placed a small overflow tube 17, which prevents, by evacuating the water without causing an action of the siphon, that the content of the tank increases as a result of a valve to float, etc., in poor condition and thus also indicates the need for repairs.
