TENDEUR DE BAS.
EMI1.1
----------------------=--.-=-.-.=-.-.---------
L'objet de la présente invention est un tendeur pour bas,de l'agencement servant à tenir les bas,tendus ou étirés quand on les fait sécher, afin qu'ile ne puissent se resontracter, De façon connue, le tendeur est constitué par un fil métallique faisant ressort, courbé en forme d'arceau, etifaire entrer dans le bas. selon 1 invention d'un côté, le fil métallique est, à l'un des bouts du tendeur courbé en spirale; à l'autre coté,les deux bouts du fil qui sont courbés de manière comme sont appli- qués respectivement sur la partie du bas où se trouve le: talon?. et belle où se trouvent les orteils;

BOTTOM TENSIONER.
EMI1.1
---------------------- = --.- = -.-. = -.-.---------
The object of the present invention is a tensioner for stockings, of the arrangement used to hold stockings, stretched or stretched when they are dried, so that they cannot be retracted. In known manner, the tensioner is constituted by a springy wire, bent in the shape of a hoop, and so enter the bottom. according to the invention on one side, the metal wire is at one end of the spiral curved tensioner; on the other side, the two ends of the thread which are curved in such a way as are applied respectively to the part of the bottom where the: heel ?. and beautiful where the toes are;
these two branches do not touch each other, while being bent inwards. As a result of the metallic wire affecting the spiral curvature, its two free ends are kept apart from each other; however, it is possible to bring them against each other by @

a hand pressure. It is also provided for a clamping bracket, not attached to the tensioner but to pass over the branches of the latter so that this bracket, when it is moved accordingly, considerably limits the amplitude of the movement of the branches. outwards, for any position.
An advantage of the tensioner designed in accordance with this invention derives from the fact that it can be used for stockings of different sizes and that, nevertheless, it is ensured in each case to have the stocking tight. The unfixed stirrup, mentioned above, serves at the same time as a retaining member for the bottom, because, being pulled on the branches of the tensioner, it prevents the bottom from wrinkling as well as from sliding up and down. ; in addition, it prevents the branches of the tensioner from deviating excessively from one another and preserves the bottom from excessive fatigue which would be inevitable if it were too tight. Another advantage lies in the very simple construction and the long service life of the tensioner.
The accompanying drawings show by way of example one embodiment of the object of this invention.
Fig.l shows a side view of the bottom tensioner; Fig. 2 is a projected plan view of the non-fixable caliper.
As can be seen from the drawings, the branches 1 of the tensioner, which is made of metal wire, have their free ends curved in correspondence with the shape of the bottom heel and of the part giving place to the toes, while at its other end the tensioner is bent in a spiral 2. Thanks to the resilience effect produced at this spiral part of the tensioner, the branches of the latter continuously tend to move away from one of the other: movement which is therefore directed outwards but which can be considerably limited at the discretion of the interested party thanks to a non-fixable bracket 3. or retaining member which is slid along its branches held tightly by him.
In fig. 1 the bottom (supposed to be stretched by this tensioner) has been drawn in dotted lines, It is only after having passed the bottom on the tensioner that one passes on the branches the caliper (retaining member) 3
