Le dispositif de distribution se compose de deux tringles 1 et 2 à mouvements de va-et-vient qui portent les dents 3 et 4 formant ainsi deux peignes. La partie active de ces deux séries de dents se trouve dans le même plan de façon que les

dents d'un peigne s'engagent entre les dents de l'autre.
La fente de distr ibution par laquelle passent les dents est avantageusement munie d'une vanne de réglage 5, disposée sur une paroi de la caisse contenant la matière à semer 6. Les mouvements de va-et-vient des deux peignes ont pour effet que les dents d'un peigne se meuvent dans les espaces libres entre les dents de l'autre.
