Device for spreading wax, oil and other polish materials on the floor.
The object of the present invention is a manual apparatus for spraying wax, colors, varnishes and the like with compressed air using an air pump for the production of compressed air, and which is characterized in its novelty by the fact that the pump body is housed inside a protective tube by the openings, made in the upper part of which, the discharged air enters the space located above the mass of wax etc., expelling it in a more or less liquid state through a sieve in the plug of a tap connected to an ejector-sprayer,
while the two channels formed inside said plug can be blocked by a common closing valve whose control is effected by a guide rod with claw clutch, this clutch being provided by a coil spring, so that the the aforementioned plug can be unscrewed from its seat by lowering the control rod.
The drawing shows the longitudinal, vertical view of the device.

This essentially comprises a more or less elongated cylindrical container 1 provided with a handle 2. 3 designates the place where a small plate bearing any inscription is attached. In the longitudinal axis of the container is located the tubular air pump 4, the piston rod 4a of which carries a handle 4b. 4c is a metal lining against which rests the output washer 4d which is fixed by a back plate 4e. 4f is a short tubing which ensures perfect guiding of the piston rod * 4h constitutes the screw cover etc. of the pump tube 4g.
On the bottom of the latter is fixed the valve 5, in the housing 5a of which the actual seat 5b and the body 5c are arranged. The mouth of the seat is conical and has a relatively narrow surface to ensure intimate contact with the cork washer 5d. 5th denotes a coil spring.
In the wall of the receptacle is fixed the plug of the sprayer valve 6. Its outer part is designated by 6a and contains the stuffing box 6b, 6h, the fixing pipe 60 and the body of the valve 6d carrying an external thread. Spraying shoe polish etc. is effected by means of a special 6th cone, the head of which carries two grooves inclined with respect to the axis. The cap 6f is pierced with a central hole which flares outwards where it forms a semi-spherical cavity in order to ensure the expansion of the jet. 6g are eto leather washers. On the inner end of the tubing 61 of the plug is placed a sort of tubular sieve 6k. 61 shows the threaded seat in which the threaded end of the plug 6 is inserted.

In order to be able to operate this valve, a vertical control rod 7, 7a is used on the upper end of which the lever 7b is fixed by means of an oror 70. 7d denotes a clutch cap and 7th a coil spring which ensures the coupling with the valve stem 6d. The rod guide
7a is carried out in consoles 7f, pierced with holes.
The filling opening is blocked off by a plug to via 9 enclosing a safety and alarm valve. Details include seat 9a, screw nut 9b, knurled nut 9c and locknut 9d. Inside this via plug is housed a 9th alarm whistle as well as the 9f valve body.
The bottom of the inner tubular is designated by 9g and the spring comes out by 9h while the washers 9i and 9k ensure the tightness of the closure.
The pump body 4g is surrounded by a protective tube 10 in the upper part of which openings are made allowing the passage of air. The ring 11 ensures its fixing which is completed by the seat 11a, the hexagon nut llb and the sealing washer llc.
To use the apparatus, the molten mass which is in a higher or less liquid state is introduced through the opening 9 into the apparatus which is then closed completely. By activating the air pump, a certain pressure is produced inside the device until the pressure gauge 8 indicates the number of atmospheres desired. It is fixed by means of the threaded seat 8a and the washer 8b. It is clear that the tap 6 must remain closed during this manipulation.
