To carry the umbrella in a practical way, one can make use of a waterproof fabric bag which is suspended from an elastic button or cr ocnet attached to a ribbon which, for example, can be passed over the shoulder at the wearer or any other item of clothing can be attached.
This bag can be in the form of an elongated envelope, as shown schematically in FIG. 5, and in order to avoid trouble when the umbrella is introduced 3. the wet state in the bag 29, in particular by placing this bag askew or in the inverted position, the closure 30 of the bag will be arranged in a particular way, for example. example so as to protrude on the side.
one can also make use of an envelope 31 constituted by a celluloid sheath comprising three or more fragments telescoping one into the other and shaped so that there is a hermetic closure between the respective elements, so that 'it is possible to enclose the umbrella and to close this container with a cover 22 to allow the umbrella to be buried in a pocket or any other receptacle.

CLAIMS.
1. umbrella or pocket parasol with sliding, telescoping and folding elements, characterized in that the sliding sleeve on the handle of the umbrella consists of two sleeves which are normally separated from each other by pressure of a helical spring acting on these wings, the first sleeve supporting the struts articulated to the mobile section of the ribs, the second sleeve being connected at an intermediate point of said struts by a rigid or flexible link, the construction being such that the the action of the spring exerts a traction on the strollers, traction carried over to the sliding part of the ribs to bring them into the extended position, that is to say the open umbrella or parasol.
