Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 4>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 5>

  Device for receiving objects to be distributed.

   The present invention relates to an apparatus for receiving objects to be dispensed, in particular objects of small dimensions, such as tickets or bills, coins, and similar objects.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

   Apparatus of this kind, which are known as coin trays, consist of a receiving tray which, at the time of dispensing, is brought into an inclined position so that the coins slide out of the way. long / the slope by gravity.

   The apparatus which is the subject of the present invention is characterized by the fact that a shutter is hingedly mounted on the receiving plate, directly or indirectly, at one of its ends or at both, --- --- -, which flap has the role of bringing the tray into an inclined position, and at the same time serving as a sliding path for the objects to be distributed.

   The description which will follow with regard to the accompanying drawing, given by way of example, will make it clear how the invention can be implemented.

   Figure 1 is a side view of an apparatus established in accordance with the invention and placed in the normal position.

   FIG. 2 represents it in one of the dispensing positions.

   Figure 3 is a side view of another embodiment.

   Figure 4 is a side view of a third embodiment with the apparatus in the normal position.

   Figure 5 shows the same device in one of the dispensing positions.

   FIG. 6 represents one of the shutters of the apparatus seen. at the end.

   Figure 7 is a view from below of Figure 6.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

   In the various embodiments shown, the apparatus consists of a receiving plate.! on which are mounted hinged at the opposite ends and at a certain distance from the edges, flaps b constituting two angled levers which swing around the fixed pivots e. In the embodiments shown in Figures 1 to 3, the shutters are mounted directly on the tray.! by means of pivots to.

   The normal position of the receiving tray.! is the horizontal position. The plate is then held by springs not shown in the drawing. These springs also serve to return the plate to the normal position after it has made a movement. The normal position can be delimited by stops.

   In the embodiments shown, the plate a is supported only by the flaps b. It is brought from the horizontal position which it normally occupies to the inclined distribution position by a traction directed towards the outside and exerted on the lower end of one of the flaps b.

   Thus, when one acts on the apparatus shown in FIG. 1, in the direction of the arrow, the movable system comprising the plate a and the flaps b is brought into the position indicated in FIG. 2. The plate a is, of this fact, brought into an inclined position such that the coins or similar objects placed on it slide and descend by gravity on its upper face, then pass over the left flap b which is now in the extension of the plate.! . The coins thus moved are collected in the hand which operates the apparatus.

   The

 <Desc / Clms Page number 4>

 the best way to use the latter is to work with your fingers on the underside of one of the shutters which, for this purpose, may have an edge.!: folded down. By releasing the device, the mobile system is returned to its normal position by means of the springs indicated above.

   The apparatus shown in Figures 1 and 2 comprises a fixed frame e, which does not follow the movements of the plate a. In the normal position, the frame e forms an upright ledge along the tray a, thus preventing the coins from sliding off the tray, even if they are thrown carelessly on the latter. As can be seen from FIG. 2, the frame.! does not interfere with the movement of the receiving plate.

   In figure 3, the frame e is rigidly connected to the plate a. To prevent free fall of the coins, the flaps are folded, in this case, so that the coins having passed the sloping edge of the frame slide directly over the flap. In Figure 3, one of the dispensing positions is indicated by dotted lines.

   In the embodiments of the invention shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the flaps b are not articulated directly on the receiving plate a: the assembly is carried out by means of plates arranged below the plate a. parallel to it so that they can rotate from their normal position in one direction only.

   Similarly, the flaps f pivot in one direction only from the normal position,: figure 4, the displacement

 <Desc / Clms Page number 5>

 in the opposite direction being prevented by fixed stops g. In addition, these stops serve to fix the plate a in its normal position, since the plate cannot be moved from the horizontal position by pressure on its upper face.

   By acting on the left flap b in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 4, the appliance is brought into the dispensing position (FIG. 5). While moving to this position, the pad! left remains pressed against the underside of the plate a. The right flap b does not pivot clockwise, as in the previous examples, but remains fixed in its position, given that it is applied against the corresponding stop g. On the other hand, the right plate 1 rotates clockwise with respect to the corresponding flap, so that the right end of the plate a is lifted by a greater amount than in the embodiment. Figures 1 and 2.

   As can be seen in Figures 6 and 7, the flaps b may be provided with protruding edges h, converging downwards, so that the coins are drawn towards each other during their downward movement. It may be preferable to shape these flanges h such that they meet at the top the flap b at an acute angle, while at the lower end the seal is rounded. This rounding can then go / erase uniformly in the direction from bottom to top.

   It goes without saying that modifications of detail could be made to the device which has just been described.
