L'invention consiste en un nouveau procédé de décoration du verre, glace, marmotite ou autres produits analogues au moyen d'un jet de sable permettant la reproduction de tout dessin, j) inscription ou figure quelconques.
A l'aide d'un pochoir, qui peut par exemple être en métal ou en toute autre matière appropriée, on applique sur le verre ou analogue a décorer , une pâte ou enduit à base de gélatine, de caoutchouc ou de toute autre matière quelconque résistant à l'action du jet de sable. Le pochoir est établi de faon à ce que ses ajours forment le motif à reproduire en relief dans la matière à décorer (verre,glace, marmorite ou analogues).

En vue de l'obtention d'effets artistiques ou hors série, certaines touches de l'enduit protecteur peuvent être faites sans pochoir, une fois que l'allure générale du dessin a été fixée par une application au pochoir,
