La présente invention a pour objet un certain nombre de perfectionnements apportés aux serrures et en particulier aux serrures fonctionnant sous l'action d'une béquille ou d'un bouton, dites " becs-de-cane " ou " demi-tour 3.
Ces perfectionnements portent
1 - Sur le mode de fixation du pêne sur la queue de pêne, ce mode de fixation étant caractéri- sé par le fait que la plaque qui constitue la queue du pêne reçoit à son extrémité une pièce métallique fixée sur elle par tout moyen convenable et filetée,

le pêne proprement dit comportant un trou taraudé susceptible de s'engager sur le filetage da la pièce rapportée sur la queue du pêne!
2 - Sur une pièce en forme de chape et fixée par un point unique au palâtre, ladite chape pouvant recevoir des goupilles ou des axes servant au montage de ressorts ou de @ tous autres organes appliqués à la serrure: cette chape comporte un trou central taraudé qui reçoit une vis de fixation au palâtre;
elle comporte également des parties saillan- tes sur sa face inférieure obtenues par emboutissage et qui permettent de maintenir ladite face inférieure, après montage, à une petite distance des cloisons de la serrure auxquelles la chape est fixée; cette der- nière disposition permet le montage rapide des estam- pilles de la serrure, ces estampilles étant fixées exactement au-dessous de la chape et à l'extérieur du coffre, au moyen de rivets fondus s'engageant dans des trous perces au droit des bossages emboutis sur la face inférieure de la chape; 3 -Sur le fait que le fonoet porte au droit de la douille qui reçoit le carré du bec-de-cane une partie emboutie rentrant à l'intérieur de la boîte et comportant en son centre un collet rabattu formant portée pour la douille.

Le second des perfectionnements qui font l'objet de 1 invention porte sur la prévision d'une pièce spéciale en forme de chape qui est fixée inté- rieurement au coffre sur l'un des bords du palâtro, qui peut supporter des goupilles servant à la fixation ou au support de certains organes de la serrure et qui permet, en même temps, la fixation rapide, sur Intérieur du coffre, de l'estampille du fabricant.
Une telle chape est représentée respec- tivement en coupe longitudinale par son plan médian et vue en bout sur les fig. 5 et 6; elle est consti- tuée par une pièce 8 dont la section est en forme d'U et dont la face inférieure reçoit, par emboutissage, des bossages tels que 9, 9'et 10, le bossage 10 étant, en même temps, poinçonné et taraudé pour servir à la fixation de la chape sur la paroi du palâtre à laquelle cette pièce doit être fixée.
Au droit des bossages 9, 9' et 10 la paroi du palâtre qui reçoit la chape est pérore de trous, l'un de ces trous (celui qui est au droit du bossage 10), étant convenablement alésé pour recevoir la vis 11 à tête noyée qui sert à la fixation de la chape sur la paroi 12.

Il est facile de se rendre oompte que l'applioation d'une telle pièce dans une serrure permet de fixer sur la chape des goupilles telles que 15 et 15' qui peuvent servir de supports à des ressorts, comme par exemple le ressort de rappel du pène ou à tous autres organes de la serrure elle- même.
Ce dispositif évite donc l'inoonvénient d'avoir à percer des trous et à fixer des goujons dans le fond du coffre et dans le foncet ; d'autre part, la prévision de bossages sur le fond de la chape et l'exécution des trous dans le palâtre au droit de ces bossages permettent la fixation des estampilles a- veo une très grande rapidité.
Un troisième perfectionnement oonsiste dans la forme de la partie emboutie du foncet qui se trouve au droit de la douille du carré du bec-de-cane; conformément à l'invention (fig. 7 et 8), cette partie emboutie 16 qui fait saillie à l'intérieur du coffre pour diminuer la longueur de la douille, porte, sur sa partie centrale, un bord rabattu ou collet 17, ledit bord rabattu présentant une certaine hauteur, de manière à pouvoir servir de portée à la douille, sans qu'il soit nécessaire de fixer sur le foncet une bague spéciale formant palier; on réalise ainsi une économie dont le prix de revient des serrures, en même temps qu'on augmente la solidarité de celles-ci.
Il est bien entendu que le mode de réali- sation de l'invention qui est représenté sur la fig. 1 n'a été cité qu'à titre d'exemple d'application des perfectionnements dont i s'agit, lesdits perfeotionne- ments pouvant également s'appliquer soit en combinaison, soit isolément à des serrures de tout autre type que les serrures dites Il demi-tour ".
