Rubber has already been considered for this use, under the elm solution in the volatile solvents usually used. This process is not without drawbacks since these volatile solvents are generally expensive substances; they have, moreover, the drawback of not being very volatile, flammable or toxic.

The object of the invention is a variant of this process which does not have these drawbacks.

According to the invention, they are no longer milked with rubber in solution in a volatile solvent but with rubber in colloidal form: for example in natural form (stabilized latex) or in the form of commercial products based on aqueous rubber emulsions as found in commerce today (eg revertex).

These emulsions, alone or with the addition of materials generally used in preparations of this type (dextrin, starches, talc, gums, vegetables, fatty substances, soaps, glycerin, sulforicinate) are used to coat the raw twine; this is smoothed out while the plaster dries.

Finally; the product used is relatively inexpensive and its handling does not generate the production of toxic or flammable vapors,
The product obtained is entirely wrapped in an elastic film / very flexible, well adhesive not leaving

no fiber protruding from the body of the twine.

Claims (1)

ABSTRACT The subject of the invention is a process for sizing the loops which is particularly applicable to hard flora, characterized by the milk that the icella is treated with an aqueous rubber emulsion under natural elm or under elm. of concentrated product after which the string is smoothed and dry. The rubber emulsion may be supplemented with materials generally used in encoilage (dextrin, scum, gums, talc, soaps, etc.).
