COUVERCLE DE FOYER DE CUISINIERE OU AUTRES.
Le présent brevet a pour objet un couvercle de foyer de cuisinière ou autre dénommé " chicane " permettant de donner une arrivée d'air supplémentaire ou additionnel au foyer. Le cou- une ou vercle est construit en/deux pièces la partie centrale étant sim- plement constituée par un plateau muni de nervures radiales qu'on enlève pour l'allumage ou le chargement du foyer, la seconde pièce de forme annulaire comportant sur la surpaisseur du cou- vercle des entrées d'air dirigées à peu près horizontalement et dé- bouchant devant des saillies de toute forme appropriée, disposées sur la face inférieure du couvercle et formant chicanes à l'air additionnel et aux gaz et fumées provenant du foyer.

modalité constructive des saillies " chicane ".
En se reportant aux figures 1 et 2 ci.dessus 1 représente la. partie annulaire du couvercle et 2 sa partie centrale.
Dans la surélévation 3¯ sont perces les trous 4 d'entrée d'air cones amenant ce dernier sur les saillies 5et de là sur les sail- lies 6 formant chicanes.
Ainsi le mélange d'air et de gaz non brûlés s'effectue aussi parfaitement que possible et amène une combustion plus parfaite des gaz et fumées provenant du foyer.
Dans la fig. 3 on a, représenté, une forma de saillies 7 en forme de chevron opérant comme prés dement décrit un brassage de l'air et des produits gazeux.
La nervure annulaire 8 de la partie 1. du couvercle pourra recevoir une série d'échancrures tels Que 2 en forme de crénaux.
Comme mentionné les saillies telles que 5,6,7 peuvent être de toute forme appropriée quelconque répondant au but envisagé.
Il va de soi que les dessins figurant à titre explicatif et non limitatif.
Les dimensions de la partie annulaire 1. comme de la partie centrale 2, peuvent varier comme il convient suivant les dimensions. de l'ouverture du foye r.

COOKER OR OTHER FIREPLACE COVER.
The present patent relates to a stove hearth cover or other so called "baffle" to give an additional or additional air supply to the fireplace. The cover or vercle is constructed in / two parts the central part being simply constituted by a plate provided with radial ribs which are removed for lighting or charging the hearth, the second annular-shaped part comprising on the excess thickness of the cover of the air inlets directed more or less horizontally and opening out in front of projections of any suitable shape, arranged on the underside of the cover and forming baffles for the additional air and for the gases and fumes coming from the hearth .
In order to bring out the above description more clearly, the accompanying drawings represent:

constructive modality of "chicane" projections.
Referring to Figures 1 and 2 above 1 shows the. annular part of the cover and 2 its central part.
In the elevation 3¯ are drilled the holes 4 of the air inlet cones bringing the latter to the projections 5 and from there to the projections 6 forming baffles.
Thus the mixture of air and unburned gases is carried out as perfectly as possible and brings about a more perfect combustion of the gases and fumes coming from the hearth.
In fig. 3 is shown a forma of projections 7 in the form of a chevron operating as previously described a stirring of air and gaseous products.
The annular rib 8 of part 1. of the cover may receive a series of notches such as 2 in the form of crenals.
As mentioned the protrusions such as 5,6,7 can be of any suitable shape whatsoever meeting the intended purpose.
It goes without saying that the drawings appearing for explanatory and nonlimiting purposes.
