    @ Il convie $, l'on outre, de signaler que dans Le cas par

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Au dessin annexé, donné uniquement à titre d'exemple.- la figure 1 est une coupe Verticale, partielle,suivant la ligne 1-1 de la figure 2, d'un filet à deux culs super- posés t la figure 2 estune coupe   horizontale, suivant   la ligne 2-2 de la figure 1;

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

   6.

  Fish net
It often happens that the rear end of the bottom of a fishing net, weighed down by detritus such as stones, algae, sand, etc ... which collect in this part of the net and also by large flatfish, crabs , etc ... rubs on the seabed and wears or tears on the bottom. The fish then escapes through the tear and all the catch is lost. In addition, the poison which is in contact with the detritus inside the ass is very often damaged by them.

   The present invention relates to a fishing net, which does not have these drawbacks. This net is remarkable in that it has two or more superimposed and independent asses.

   Thanks to this construction, the fish collected by the upper ass (s) are no longer in contact with the lower ass which contains the detritus (stones, corals, shells, etc: -: ..} -... and do not are more likely to be overwritten.

    @ It invites $, one besides, to announce that in the case by

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 example of fishing for herring, mackerel or cod, @ when this fishing is successful, the ordinary codend of the lay trawl is considerably lengthened, when the bag is full, it results from the compression that a lot of fish is abyss. With separate and superimposed bottoms, it is possible to make these bottoms much shorter, for the same total capacity, therefore to significantly reduce the compression of the peas = on. The load of one of the asses is clearly without action on the load of the other ass because of the complete separation of these asses.

   Because of this fact, the fish will not only be less damaged, but the net will also be much easier to handle when you get on board. also note that due to the common separation of the ends, checking their entire surface and repairing them, if necessary, is considerably facilitated,
Other advantages will result from the description which follows.
In the appended drawing, given by way of example only - figure 1 is a vertical section, partial, along line 1-1 of figure 2, of a net with two superimposed asses; figure 2 is a section horizontal, along line 2-2 of Figure 1;

   Figures 3 and 4 are cross sections sui-. is equal to lines 3-3 and 4-4 of figure 1.

   In the example of execution shown the net-1 comprises two superimposed and separate butt 2 and 3. The entry of the upper butt 2 is provided with a veil or prevents 4. This vcile, of conical or other shape, tontine at the back by an opening 5, through which the fish enters the bottom 2. The Zoile 4 is kept in shape by means of taut wires.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

   6.

   Likewise the lower end is provided with a similar vcile 7.

   Gorget 8 is executed and. the usual way. We notice, at 9 (FIG. 1) the. tablecloth separation cord.

   Hang it. fishing, the pcis one penetrates mainly through the opening 5 in the upper ass 2. Experience has shown that approximately nine tenths of the fish caught are collected by the said upper ass 2, the lower ass collecting all heavy materials such as shells, stones, corals, etc ...

   Experience has shown that round fish tend to enter the upper butt 2. As this butt is completely separated, the result is that many small fish have the chance to escape through the open pegs, while in a ordinary ass the small poison is crushed by its contact with the collected refuse.

   Naturally, if, for any reason whatsoever, the lower wall of ass 3 tears, the few fish contained in this ass may escape, and use it. anyway, most of the peas: .- one contained in the bottom 2 remains trapped in the net.

   Of course, the invention is in no way limited to the embodiment shown and described, which was chosen only by way of example. Of course, the number of superposed asses such as 2 and 3 can be any, as well as
1 forms sails or hinders 4 and 7.

   The invention obviously applies to nets of all categories.
