La présente invention est relative à des perfec-' tionnements aux boutons en particulier ceux comportant un revêtement en cuir.
On a représenté, à titre d'exemple, une forme de réalisation de l'objet de l'invention sur le dessin annexé dans lequel:

La forme préférée de réalisation de l'objet de linvention, représentée sur le dessin, est un bouton en cuir qui est fait de façon à avoir l'aspect d'un bouton en cuir tressé. Dans ce qui suit, il sera parlé de deux éléments du bouton dont chacun est fait de plusieurs parties, un de ces éléments est désigné sous le nom de partie avant et l'autre sous le nom de partie arrière.
La partie avant comporte un chapeau métallique 1 qui est recouvert d'une matière quelconque, flexible, telle que par exemple du cuir 2, ainsi qu'on le voit surtout sur la figure 4. Le revêtement en cuir ?, recouvre la surface ex- térieure du chapeau 1, et, sur sa périphérie,, il est tiré sur le bord du chapeau et son bord propre est caché à l'inté- rieur du chapeau.
La partie arrière est faite d'un disque métal- lique (figures 4 et 6) qui est pourvu sur son pourtour extérieur d'un bord 1 retourné vers le bas. Le disque est perforé en son milieu, en donnant une ouverture 5, et cette ouverture est entourée d'une paroi constituée par la matière se trouvant au voisinage de l'ouverture 5. La partie arrière comporte également un disque en ouir ou une bague analogue '1 dont une surface s'applique contre le disque mé- tallique et qui a un diamètre tel quil soit pris dans le bord 4 du disque , ainsi qu'on le voit sur les figures 4 et 6.

On va indiquer brièvement ci-dessus le montage du bouton conforme à l'invention de façon à montrer en même temps les avantages de ce bouton. Tout d'abord, les différentes parties de la partie arrière sont réunies les unes aux autres de façon à former un tout (figures 5 et 6) La bague de cuir 7 est maintenue assemblée avec les deux autres parties par la patte 9 avant de fixer la partie ar- rière sur la partie avant.
Pour le montage final du bouton on introduit la partie arrière dans la partie avant creuse et le pourtour 11 (figure 4) avec le revêtement en cuir 2, passé par-dessus celui-ci, est serti de façon à emboîter le bord du disque métallique . Cette caractéristique de l'e boîtage est visible nettement sur la figure 4, d'où il res- sort que la partie 11, recourbée vers l'intérieur, est tiré avec le revêtement en cuir sur le bord 4, de sorte que l'on ne peut retirer de la partie avant creuse la partie arrière sous l'action de forces quelconques, se produisant de façon générale en sens contraire sur les deux parties.
Pendant la fabrication du bouton, on utilise des matrices appropriées, non représentées, de façon à appuyer sur les parties déterminées de la partie avant, ce qui

donne sur celle-ci un dessin déterminé. Sur le bouton re- présenté sur le dessin, on a fait des rainures 12 dans le chapeau 1 et dans le revêtement en cuir 3 par compression, de sorte que la surface de la partie supérieure du bouton semble être faite de bandes de cuir tressées.
Le bouton selon l'invention est durable, il a un aspect agréable, il est relativement facile à fabriquer, il est uniforme en ce qui concerne la grandeur et la lon- gueur de la patte et il est assemblé de telle façon que les différentes parties se trouvent solidement maintenues les unes sur les autres.
Evidemment, le bouton peut avoir d'autres formes que celle qui est décrite et représentée et l'invention n'est pas limitée à la forme particulière de réalisation ci-dessus.

The preferred embodiment of the object of the invention, shown in the drawing, is a leather button which is made to have the appearance of a braided leather button. In what follows, we will talk about two elements of the button each of which is made up of several parts, one of these elements is referred to as the front part and the other as the rear part.
The front part comprises a metal cap 1 which is covered with any flexible material, such as for example leather 2, as can be seen above all in FIG. 4. The leather covering ?, covers the ex- surface. of the hat 1, and, on its periphery, it is pulled over the brim of the hat and its clean brim is hidden inside the hat.
The rear part is made of a metal disc (Figures 4 and 6) which is provided on its outer periphery with an edge 1 turned down. The disc is perforated in its middle, giving an opening 5, and this opening is surrounded by a wall made up of the material located in the vicinity of the opening 5. The rear part also comprises an open disc or a similar ring. '1, one surface of which rests against the metal disc and which has a diameter such that it is taken in the edge 4 of the disc, as can be seen in Figures 4 and 6.

This feature of the box is clearly visible in Fig. 4, from where it emerges that the part 11, curved inward, is pulled with the leather covering on the edge 4, so that the the rear part cannot be removed from the hollow front part under the action of any forces, generally occurring in the opposite direction on the two parts.
During the manufacture of the button, suitable dies are used, not shown, so as to press on the determined parts of the front part, which

gives on it a determined drawing. On the button shown in the drawing, grooves 12 have been made in the cap 1 and in the leather cover 3 by compression, so that the surface of the upper part of the button appears to be made of braided leather bands.
The button according to the invention is durable, it has a pleasing appearance, it is relatively easy to manufacture, it is uniform in the size and length of the tab and it is assembled in such a way that the different parts are securely held on top of each other.
Obviously, the button can have other shapes than that which is described and shown and the invention is not limited to the particular embodiment above.
