Nouvelle machine à courber V N K

Title of the invention.
New V N K bending machine
I, the undersigned Joseph Van @ychen domiciled, rue François Gay, 140 in Woluwe Saint Pierre in honor of. apply for an invention patent with attached description and drawings
This bending machine makes it easy to perform one-piece air trap bending.
This machine consists of a. set of jigs, roller guides, jaws and mandrels with balls which correspond to the different diameters of the tube to be bent.,
The mandrel jig and roller guide are fixed by a pivot fixing pin. They can be easily removed and replaced with another jig or guide corresponding to a different tube diameter.)
The hinged chuck or the spherical chuck is screwed onto a rod, 'the latter is fixed to two ... - fixing arms resting on the center of the jig and on the termination of the two arms of the fixator by a nut bolt . '.
For the articulation of the rod and mandrel, it is sufficient to remove the bolt to release the mandrel and replace it with another.
The tube to be bent is clamped in the jaws where one is. @ must prime the hanger to be executed, 'if we exert a tractior on the control arm at an angle of 150 degrees we obtain half of the air cutter in the form of # loosening the jaw and removing the tube from the mandrel, the tube is fixed in the form of another bending jig for an air barrier. This template with tube will then be placed against the walls of the control arm (lever), one part .: tie to beat in the hollow of the lever, on the other side of the lever, 'the tube will be tightened and wedged by a jaw. (See drawing S.V P.)
After this operation the machine is ready for the second air stripper.

This machine can bend copper tubes 1 to 2 mm thick, any diameter up to 40 mm, can be used for different radii sizes, can bend from the smallest dimension up to 20 mm in diameter cold with gallet without mandrel. 1
The @ hinged or swivel chuck with two balls is used 82 especially for bending an air cutter. For any mandrel bending the copper must be annealed and oiled.
The two jaws are fixed to the place to be able to put a mandrel in the tube to avoid flattening!
The whole assembly is fixed on a single plate.
The control arm is stopped by a stopper placed at 0 degrees:
The control arm has a rounded end of 55 mm in diameter to be able to put 2 tubes of different lengths
The plate has graduated holes to stop bending at any degree.
The same machine can be used and serve for pipe diameters, larger than 40mm, reinforcing the construction of the machine.)
