BREVET D'INVENTION Mémoire descriptif à l'appui d'une demande de brevet relatif à une GRILLE A BARREAU$ LONGITUDINAUX REPOSANT SUR APPUIS TRANSVERSAUX
Le présent brevet a pour objet une grille de foer à bar- reaux longitudinaux caractérisée par le fait que les différents bar- reaux reposent,non par leurs extrémités,mais plutôt par leur base inférieure sur des supports transversaux,La juxtaposition des diffé- rents éléments permet l'établissement de grilles dont les dimensions peuvent varier dans de très larges limites.D'autres caractéristiques se rapportent a la hauteur des barreaux ainsi qu'a leur profil.
A cet effet et conséquemment a titre explicatif et non limitatif,les desx - sins ci-joint annexés représentent : fig 1 : une coupe transversale en clcvation dans une chau- dière a foyer intérieur et a tubes de fumées; la fig 2 montre la disposition adoptée pour une chaudière a foyer extérieur et a tubes d'eau; la fig 3 est une vue latérale de la disposition adoptée dans la fig 1;
la fig 4 représente une coupe faite en travers des barreaux et leur mode d'assemblage, Bans la fig l,les lettres a et b désignent les supports longitudinaux n'offrant aucune liaison avec la façade ainsi qu'avec

l'autel du. four.Dans le cas d'une chaudière a foyer intérieur, ils reposent librement sur les parois latérales et l'espace restant est comblé au moyen de terre réfractaire. Les supports sont reliés par une double série de barres transversales désignées par les lettres c et e.
Les barreaux de la grille reposent librement par leurs bases inférieures sur les appuis o tandis que leur encoche médiane chevauche, avec un faible jeu., sur lesbarres-guides e.Cette disposition empêche tout déplacement des barreaux dans le sens longitudinal tout en permettant leur dilatation.D'autres caractéristiques se rapporten a la hauteur.ainsi qu'an profil spécial donné aux barreaux.La hauteru est telle qu'elle assure un refroidissement suffisant de la grille, tout en assurant un échauffement convenable de l'air comburant.Ceci offre le grand avantage d'éviter a la partie supérieure de la grille toute formation de croûtes cendreuses et d'en prolonger considérable ment la durée .
Les épaulements h i appliquent les éléments les une contre les autres et maintiennent l'écartement constant.L'ouverture g,a la partie supérieure,tout en étant très réduite,assure cependant un tirage accéléré et rend possible l'utilisation de charbon granulé Pour les chaudières a tubes d'eau.les barres d'appui reposent sur des tiges fixées dans la maçonnerie.Cette grille peut s'appliquer a toute espèce de chaufferie.

PATENT OF INVENTION Descriptive memory in support of a patent application relating to a LONGITUDINAL $ BAR GRID BASED ON TRANSVERSE SUPPORTS
The present patent relates to a foer grid with longitudinal bars characterized in that the various bars rest, not by their ends, but rather by their lower base on transverse supports. The juxtaposition of the various elements allows the establishment of grids whose dimensions can vary within very wide limits. Other characteristics relate to the height of the bars as well as their profile.
To this end, and consequently for explanatory and non-limiting purposes, the attached drawings represent: FIG. 1: a cross-section in clcvation in a boiler with an internal hearth and with smoke tubes; FIG. 2 shows the arrangement adopted for a boiler with an external hearth and water tubes; Fig 3 is a side view of the arrangement adopted in Fig 1;
