"AUTOMATIC CLOSING DEVICE SPECIALLY FOR TUBES CONTAINING CREAMY MATERIALS" The invention relates to an automatic closing device especially for tubes containing creamy materials, such as hygienic and medicinal pastes and creams, or any other plastic substances, which are expelled tubes under the action of a pressure exerted on them, which tubes are generally made of ductile metal and have a small thickness to allow easy flattening of said tubes.
The known closure of these tubes by means of a screw cap necessitated, for each use, the unscrewing and replacing of the cap and gave rise, each time, to a certain loss of creamy material. In addition, if you inadvertently forget to screw the cap back on, the material contained in

the tube would dry out and risk deteriorating.
According to the invention, all these drawbacks are eliminated thanks to the provision of an automatic closing device which makes it possible to expel the creamy material by simple pressure on the tube, without any other manipulation, and which ensures the tight sealing and automatic as soon as said pressure is removed.
This device consists essentially of a first element made integral with the tube, provided with a central recess and surmounted by a plate forming a valve, not closing off this recess, of a second element slidably mounted on said first element. and terminating at the top with a transverse wall with a central perforation, so as to form a seat for said valve, and a third element which fits around said second element, and is fixed to a shoulder provided to said first element , a tension spring being provided around the. said second element, so as to bear, on the one hand, on an outer shoulder thereof and, on the other hand, on an inner shoulder of the third element.
By way of example, an embodiment of the device according to the invention is described below with reference to the appended drawing, which shows a cross-sectional view of this device.
In this drawing, a designates the first element, having the shape of a hollow cylinder which has two enlargements forming shoulders a1 and a2. This element is made integral with the tube h, by screwing at c or in any other suitable way. A bracket d, integral with the element &, carries a plate or mushroom forming a valve. The second element f, taking the form of a bell, is slidably mounted on the element a. It is supported on element a by a shoulder ..!. 2

and has a frustoconical upper wall f1 'in which a central hole is made to form a seat which normally comes to rest on the valve e.
A third element or cap g engages around the part f and is fixed to the element a by screwing, or in any other suitable way, in g2. A tension spring h is supported on the one hand on the shoulder f2 and on the other hand on an internal shoulder g1 of the cap g.
The creamy material contained in the tube completely fills the space delimited by the element a, the upper part of the element f and the valve e. When a pressure is exerted on the tube, this will be transmitted by the plastic material to the wall f1 and will produce the lifting of the element f., Against the antagonism of the return spring h, so that this element will come to occupy the position shown in broken lines. The plastic material will be expelled through the central opening of the wall f1, until the pressure is released. The spring h then returns the members to their initial position by closing the tube in a sealed manner.
It is understood that the various elements of the device according to the invention can undergo numerous constructive modifications without modifying their operation and without departing from the spirit of the invention.
