  "1 year, olo1uo: t: lB ut porkeu 113011.111 Uhl" .-
The novelty of the present invention lies mainly in the fact that elements used in the construction of buildings and furniture, in particular partitions, panels and doors of all kinds, are manufactured in such a way as to make them insulating in the face. acoustic and calorific point of view.

The invention is characterized mainly by the fact that said elements consist of a layer of insulating material, preferably cork, to which is applied on both sides a thin layer of wood constituted.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

ant the outer panel of the element.

Everything is imprisoned in a wooden or other material frame, in order to achieve an essentially solid and compact assembly. The insulating layer, composed of sheet cork, or other compounds based on compressed cork, etc., has a relatively large thickness compared to that of the two wood panels surrounding said insulating layer. These panels are preferably formed by triplex or multiplex boards, which offer appreciable resistance at a very low thickness.

By way of example, there is shown in the accompanying drawings, a door section, made according to the principles according to the invention. This door comprises, in main order, a wooden frame 1, in which is imprisoned a layer of cork 2, which is coated on either side of panels 3 and 4, in triplex, for example. Panels 3 and 4 are driven into the appropriate grooves in frame 1.

These panels are preferably glued to the intermediate layer 2, either on site or mechanically, with indeterminate dimensions.

Cork or any cork-based compound is an excellent insulator and makes it possible to reduce, under the conditions mentioned, any significant transmission of heat or noise between the different rooms of a building.

   CLAIMS.

1.) Panel, partition, door and any other similar element of building or furniture, characterized by the fact is obtained by the interposition, between two surfaces that the sound and heat insulation indeformable in wood, of a layer of cork or cork-based compound.

2.) Panel, partition, door and any other similar building element according to claim 1, characterized in that the two panels mentioned are glued on both sides. <Desc / Clms Page number 3> another on the insulating layer, either on site or by manufacture.
