La présente invention est telative à une monture pour articles de maroquinerie ou de voyage, tels que Sacs à main, étuis, valises, etc., qui comprend deux branches articulées pouvant être réunies par un fermoir et dont une est fixée rigidement à une bande métallique placée entre les deux branches dans la posi- tion de fermeture de la monture, Jasqu'à présent, la fixation rigide de cette bande métallique à une des branches était réalisée pa.r soudage, Or, cette opération est longue et par conséquent relativement coûteuse.

Suivant une forme de réalisation de l'invention, adoptée de préférence, la bande est fixée rigidement à le. branche consjdérée de la monture au moyen d'une saillie découpée dans la branche sous le fermoir etplacée contre la bande, ladite saillie étant réunie à la bande par un organe de rivetage, tel qu'un rivet ou un oeillet.
D'autres particularités et cëtails de l'invention apparaîtront au cours de la description des dessins annexés au présent mémoire et qui représentent schématiquement, en perspective, et à titre d'exemples seulement, diverses formes de réalisation de l'invention.

Les figures 3 à 5 sont des vues en coupe analogues à la figure 3 de différentes variantes de réalisation de la monture selon l'invention.

A la fig, 1 on a représenté une monture pour sac à main, conforme à l'invention, comprenant deux branches 2, 2' présentant des lèvres de sertissage du cuir connues 2a, 2a et 2'a, 2'a.
Entre les branches 2 et 2' de la monture est interposée une bande métallique 3 placée de champ par rapport à une des lèvres de sertissage 2a de la branche 2 et épousant le contour de celle-ci. Les extrémités de ce tte bande sont réunies aux extrémités 2b, 2c et 2'b, 2'c des branches 2, 2' au moyen d'oeil-

D'autre part, la monture est munie d'un fermoir 5 ( repré- senté en trait interrompu pour plus de clarté ) connu en soi.
Sous ce fermoir, une saillie 2d découpée dans la lèvre de ser- tissage 2a de la branche 2 et repliée à angle droit par rap- port à cette lèvre, de manière telle qu'elle est en contact avec la bande 3, est réunie à cette dernière par un oeillet 6, cet oeillet jouant le rôle d'un rivet.
Dans la variante de la monture suivant l'invention qui est représentée à la figure 3, une saillie 2d en forme de crochet découpée dans une des lèvres de sertissage 2a est engagée dans une fente 3a de la bande 3, le bec 2f du crochet étant rabattu contre la bande 3.
Dans la variante de l'invention représentée à la figure 4, la fixation rigide de la bande 3 à la branche 2 est effectuée au moyen d'une saillie en forme de crochet 3c de la, bande 3, engagée dans une fente 2g d'une lèvre de sertissage 2a de la monture. En outre, dans l'exemple représenté, la saillie 3c est réunie à la lèvre de sertissage au moyen d'un oeillet 6, jouant le rôle d'un rivet.
Dans la variante de réalisation de l'invention représen- tée à la. figure 5, la bande 3 présente une saillie 3b repliée perpendiculairement au pla.n de la bande et placée contre une des lèvres de sertissage 2a, ladite saillie étant réunie à cette lèvre 2a par un oeillet 6.
Il est évident que l'invention n'est pas exclusivement limitée aux formes de réalisation représentéeset que bien des modifications peuvent être apportée dans la forme, la consti- tution etle nombre des éléments intervenant dans sa réalisa- tion, sans sortir de la portée du présent brevet.
