  Porte-monnaie.

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

  Wallet.

   The object of the present invention is a coin purse essentially characterized in that the body of the purse proper has its opening delimited or formed by a flat, rigid frame combined with a transparent cover. The purpose of this transparent cover is to make it possible to see immediately, without opening the wallet, approximately the amount locked there, and in addition, to allow the necessary coin to be withdrawn, without trial and error. Preferably, and always for the same purpose, the body of the purse has a flat rigid bottom, of the same dimensions as the frame of the cover, this bottom being connected to said frame by a skin or leather forming a bellows.

   Such a purse is of an extra-flat shape, capable of being carried in a waistcoat pocket; it can, however, contain a relatively large sum of money.

   A preferred embodiment is shown in a non-limiting way in the accompanying drawing, in which:

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

   fig.l is a view of the open purse, fig.2 is a section along II-II of the closed purse.

   In the example, the body of the purse comprises a flat rigid bottom 1 of any shape. This background consists of a thin sheet of light metal, for example aluminum with an edge slightly curved upwards, covered on both sides with any skin material. This bottom is combined with a rigid frame 2, of the same outline and with an edge curved downwards; this frame is preferably also made of metal covered with leather.

   The bottom 1 and the frame 2 are interconnected over the entire periphery, by a wall 3, made of skin for example, which forms a bellows. The frame 2 supports a cover 4, hinged to one edge; this cover is transparent and is for example made of a sheet of cellophane reinforced, over its entire circumference, by a small strip 5 in leather. 6 is the female part of the closing push-button, 7 of which is the male part fixed to the frame 2. The cover preferably comprises a small tab 8 of skin or leather, taken into the female part 6, and which facilitates the fitting. 'opening.

   CLAIMS.

   1. Purse characterized in that the upper edge of the actual body of the purse is equipped with a rigid frame which supports a transparent cover.
