Dispositif de commande automatique d'appareils d'alarmes.
EMI1.1
-------------------------------------------------------

<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

Automatic control device for alarm devices.
EMI1.1
-------------------------------------------------- -----
The present invention relates to a device for automatically controlling alarm devices and in particular warning devices for breaching closed spaces, such as rooms, chests, and the like, either by opening doors and windows, breaking of ice cream and other offenses.
Alarm devices are already known in which the interruption of the current in a relay causes a signal to function.
Practice has shown that it is possible, by a suitable binding, to cut the circuit at the desired location without interrupting the current in the relay.
The main aim of the invention is to obviate these drawbacks while increasing the sensitivity, the precision and the automatioity compared to the devices known at present.
With a view to achieving this aim, the device, object of the invention, essentially consists of means determining a potential difference at the terminals of a relay in the event of an infringement and sufficient for closing the circuit. -

alarm cooked, potential which, depending on an equilibrium resistor, is brought to zero in the guard position.
Other characteristic elements will also emerge from the description which follows.
In the accompanying drawing is shown, by way of example, an embodiment of the present device for automatic control of alarm devices.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the resistors 1, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, intended to protect the display, for example against theft, are connected in series and joined by contacts of 'openings 2, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26.
The free end of extreme resistance! and contact 26 of resistor 16 are connected to terminals 3-4 of the power circuit.
A balancing resistor 5 is also mounted between terminals 3-4 of the supply circuit.
A bell 6 is supplied by the supply circuit 3-4, the intensity of which is regulated by a resistor 7.
In the ringing circuit 6 is placed a contact 8 actuated by a very sensitive relay 9 whose electro is connected on the one hand between the series of resistors 1 to. 16 and, on the other hand, with the cursor 10 moving on the equilibrium resistor 5.
By moving cursor 10, it is possible to bring the potential in the electro of relay 9 to a zero value.
Any modification made to one of the opening contacts 2 to 26, either by short-circuit or by breaking, modifies the balance previously created by cursor 10, which produces a potential difference across the terminals of relay 9 and closing the alarm bell circuit 6 via contact 8.
In order to obtain that during a power failure of the

seoteur for any cause (see drawing), the alarm can still be done as if there was a break in the series of resistors 1-16, an emergency relay is provided which automatically closes the bell circuit. 6 on a cell or battery 12 via a contact 13, as soon as the mains power is cut.
In some cases, sparks can be feared when changing the position of the contacts; for this purpose, a small capacitor 14 will advantageously be mounted at the terminals of said contact.
The invention has been described and illustrated purely as an indication and in no way limiting, and it goes without saying that numerous modifications can be made to its details, without departing from its spirit.
