Ce couvercle est tenu en place par un simple bourrelet intérieur et l'élasticité de-la matière employée. Comme il est d'une seule pièce lisse à l'extérieur et sauf la rainure du bourrelet, aussi à l'intérieur, il est d'un nettoyage fa- cile.
Le placement comme l'enlèvement en sont très faciles, le bouchage est hermétique et le déplacement du lait à. l'intérieur de la cruche, même quand celle ci se renverse, n'occasionne pas l'enlèvement du couvercle.
