<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

"BICYCLE EQUIPPED WITH 73 'A REAR LANTERN WHOSE LIGHTING CONDUCTORS ARE PARTIALLY HOUSED IN THE TUBES OF THE FRAME"
The invention relates to. a bicycle fitted with a rear lantern, the lighting conductors of which are partially housed in the tubes of the frame. This mounting system of. supply conductors of the rear lantern has the advantage that these conductors are, at least partially, hidden and protected against deterioration, but at the same time it has the disadvantage that if the part of the lighting pipe which was in the outside of the frame tubes is damaged, it is also necessary to replace the condueteurs housed inside these tubes.
Since, however, the part of the pipeline which is inside the frame tubes is almost inaccessible, replacement thereof is made very difficult.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The object of the invention is to remedy this drawback.
For this purpose, there is provided in the lighting pipe, at the place where it exits the tubes of the frame, a seal which consists of a feed-through contact fixed in the wall of the tube and isolated from it. ci, and whose two ends are adapted to fix the end of a conductor therein.
The application of said invention allows the. repair of the part of the lighting pipe which is outside the frame tubes, without disturbing the part which is inside them.
The invention will be further explained with the aid of the drawing which represents an embodiment thereof, and of which FIG. 1 is a cross section of the front part of the down tube of a bicycle; Fig. is a longitudinal section of one of the arms of the horizontal rear fork.
The lighting pipe is made up of part 1 which is inside the frame tubes 8 and parts 14 which are outside the frame tubes. At the location of and the transition between the inner conductor 1 / the outer conductors 14, a feed-through contact 3 is provided in the wall of the frame tubes, while the diagonal tube is reinforced by means of a sleeve 9 surrounding said tube. The feed-through contacts are isolated from the relative frame tube, using the insulating rings 7 and 10, while they are fixed to the wall of the tube by means of the nuts 6 and 12. On the ends of each contact 3 which protrude from the nuts 6 and 12, the eyelets 2 and 13 respectively of the inner and outer conductors are passed, the ends of which are fixed by means of the respective nuts 4 and 15.
By means of said construction, the conduc-

or one of them, can be replaced without disturbing the inner conductor.
