Description
Procédé pour empêcher la corrosion des métaux par des acides. <EMI ID=1.1> aux bains acides, servant au mordançage des métaux, des substances organiques qui empêchent l'attaque des métaux par l'acide, sans toutefois compromettre la tâche ou la destination proprement dite <EMI ID=2.1> talli ques adhérant à la surface du métal. Par exemple, onautilisé comme mordants économiques des résidus de la distillation du gou- <EMI ID=3.1> produits de condensation des thiourées avec d.es aldéhydes, ou des composés hétérocycliques renfermant de l'azote et de l'oxygène. Or, on a trouvé, suivant la présente invention, que des alcools de la série acétylénique, par exemple l'alcool propargylique <EMI ID=4.1> empêcher ou. diminuer la corrosion des métaux par des acides. L'action inhibitrice des alcools de ce genre n'est pas plus grande que <EMI ID=5.1> <EMI ID=6.1> lubilité dans l'eau des alcools de la série acétylénique apporte des avantages précieux pour l'usage envisagé ici. En effet, on peut économiser-les agents de mouillage, considerés souvent comme nécessaires pour la meilleure répartition des composés insolubles, auxquels appartiennent les sulfures et les sulfoxydes connus. Les mordants insolubles dans l'eau adhérent de manière tenace, après le traitement, à la surface métallique, alors que, par contre, les alcools acétyléniques, restent pratiquaient entièrement dissous dans la lessive de mordançage, de sorte qu'on peut utiliser cette der- <EMI ID=7.1> tallique traitée à un état entièrement propre par simple rinçage.- <EMI ID=8.1> alliages contre l'attaque des acides les plus divers.
