La présente invention concerne l'industrie du meuble et plus spécialement la. fabrication des lits.
Le mobilier des chambres à coucher tel qu'il est gé- néralement conçu; comprend, outre le lit, deux tables de nuit, ,et une armoire ou garde-robe. Ce mobilier exige nécessairement une chambre d'une certaine dimension pour le recevoir et offrir encore un passage aisé à l'usager.

dance récente en construction, surtout dans les villes à population dense, étant aux chambres de dimensions réduités comparées à celles des anciennes constructions.
D'autre part, ltarrêt dans la construction des bâtiments et la disparition d'un grand nombre d'entre eux, obligent à pouvoir disposer des chambres qui jusqu'ici n'étaient pas destinées à titre principal à être employées comme chambres à coucher.
La présente invention a pour but de remédier à ces inconvénients et de procurer un lit de dimensions normales con- çu de manière à pouvoir éventuellement remplacer le mobilier habituel des chambres à coucher.
Dans ce but, le lit, objet'de l'invention est caractérisé en ce que la face au pied du lit est agencée en forme d'armoire.
Dans la réalisation pratique de l'invention, les extrémités latérales de l'armoire sont établies sous forme de tables de nuit solidaires du lit et de l'armoire.
Des étagères servant également de table de nuit, sont établies à la ttte du lit de chaque coté de celui-ci.
Le lit, l'armoire et les tables de nuit constituent ainsi un meuble unique reposant sur quatre pieds et aisément déplaçable.
Le dessina ci-joint montre un exemple de réalisation d'un lit combiné établi suivant l'invention.

L'ensemble de ltarmoire 4 et des tables de nuit 9 ' @ repose sur les deux pieds antérieurs 13 du lit qui sont éventuellement élargis pour assurer une bonne stabilité.

Il est fréquent de trouver des chambres comportant au minimum une fenêtre, une porte et une cheminée, Si les dimensions de la chambre sont de'4 m. environ, un lit suivant l'invention, qui normalement présente un encombrement en largeur de 2,65m. peut être placé à la paroi de la porte avec l'avantage d'avoir de chaque cote une table de nuit, et au pied du lit, une armoire pour les vêtements de nuit, le linge du lit, les pantoufles, le couvre-lit, etc.
Le lit combiné constitue ainsi un produit industriel nouveau réunissant en un seul objet, de dimensions réduites, reposant sur quatre pieds, les avantages de plusieurs objets, jusqu'ici séparés et dispersés dans la chambre.
Il résulte également de cette réunion dtéléments, un avantage au point de vue facilité d'entretien en ce sens que les larges espaces se trouvant entre les quatre pieds de support permettent un nettoyage aisé du plancher sous le lit, ce qui n'est pas le cas lorsque les différents meubles actuellement réunis en un seul, sont employés séparément, les pieds des tables de nuit étant en effet fort rapprochés les uns des autres.
