La présente invention est relative aux talonnettes protège-bas qui sont destinées à être placées intérieurement dans les chaussures afin d'empêcher l'usure et le déchirement des bas par suite du frottement dû au glissement du talon dans la chaussure.
Ces talonnettes sont généralement faites en tissu caoutchouté, ce qui a l'avantage de les rendre très résistantes à l'usure mais aussi l'inconvénient de provoquer une forte sudation du talon.
La présente invention a pour but d'éviter cet inconvénient. A cet effet, les talonnettes suivant l'invention sont ouvertes à l'arrière de manière à.permettre à l'air de circuler plus librement autour du pied, supprimant ainsi toute sudation excessive du talon et maintenant le pied dans de bonnes conditions d'hygiène.
L'ouverture dans les talonnettes est avantageusement ménagée entre la semelle de la talonnette et le contrefort de celle-ci, de préférence sous la forme d'une échancrure découpée dans la partie inférieure du contrefort de la talonnette.
Une talonnette conforme à l'invention est représentée en perspective sur le dessin annexé, à titre d'exemple. Cette talonnette est constituée de deux parties, la semelle a et le contrefort b, réunies par une couture c, l'ensemble étant de forme appropriée pour emboîter le,talon.
Au bas du contrefort b de la talonnette est découpée une échancrure d qui s'étend depréférence sur toute la largeur de la talonnette, ne laissant subsister pour le raccordement à la semelle a que les côtés de contrefort b.
