DÉPOSÉ A L'APPUI D'UNE DEMANDE
DE BREVET D'INVENTION
 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

  DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY
SUBMITTED IN SUPPORT OF A REQUEST
OF INVENTION PATENT
 EMI1.1
Gentlemen 11001011 'AEUTER and îlerner BIERI Tubular heating boiler.

Swiss patent application dated January 29, 1945 in favor of Mr. A. STEINER
The subject of the invention is a tubular heating boiler which is remarkable in particular in that it comprises a double casing filled with water forming at the same time the combustion chamber of the boiler, and in which are arranged in the The space limited by its inner wall, ascending tubes or boiling tubes which communicate at the lower part with the water chamber of the double jacket, and at the upper part open into a manifold comprising a starting tubular.

In the accompanying drawing, given only by way of example: FIG. 1 is a vertical section through an embodiment of the heating boiler according to the invention with a sawdust hearth; Fig. 2 is a horizontal section of this boiler, in which certain parts visible in projection are not shown; Fig. Z is a vertical section of a heating boiler with an oil fireplace.

The heating boiler shown in Figs. 1 and 2 comprises a container a serving to receive the sawdust, and comprising at the top a filling funnel a1.

A grid b is located at the lower part of this receptacle and above the grid is a double wall c filled with water, forming at the same time the combustion chamber of the boiler and comprising a return pipe c1. Boiling or rising tubes d are arranged in the space limited by the inner wall of the double wall; they communicate at the lower part with the water chamber of this double wall c, and open at the upper part into a collector flqui comprises a starting pipe e.

This collector f1 is formed by the upper part of a reservoir7 f, shared by a transverse, horizontal partition, and the lower part of which forms a smoke collector f2 provided with an outlet flue f3. A branch pipe g connects the double wall ±. with the starting pipe e,

The heating boiler of FIG. 3 is arranged to operate with heating oil; as a result the grid and the sawdust tank are removed.

But, we find the double wall filled with water m, in which are arranged as above boiling or rising tubes d which open at the upper part into a collector f3, against the heating boiler of FIG. l, these tubes d do not open at their lower part directly into the double wall m, but they communicate with the upper part of this double wall by means of branch pipes n, which pass through the double wall and pass to the outside. The result is that the water heated in the double wall m arrives through the bypass pipes n in the risers or boilers d, and consequently passes a second time into the heating zone of the boiler which allows it to be heated to an even higher temperature.

Flues for the passage of fumes are placed in the double wall m.

This boiler could also possibly be heated with a gaseous fuel instead of a liquid fuel.

Finally, by taking appropriate measures, it could also be heated with solid fuel.
