Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 4>

   <Desc / Clms Page number 1>

  "Hygienic holder for container and / or toothbrushes and the like". The invention relates to a sanitary article, more particularly for supporting the glass or cup with or without one or more toothbrushes, "under such conditions that not only these articles are fixed in a stable manner, but also and especially that-these articles are immobilized in the most hygienic conditions.

   In fact, supports are known for said articles, in which the glass or cup is simply placed without having sufficient support so as to prevent it from moving and especially falling under the slightest stress.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

   Furthermore, supports for toothbrushes are known in the form of small racks to which the brush is attached and which generally form a device independent of the support of the glass or cup. When these two supports are amalgamated in a single device, the toothbrushes are generally kept in the open air.

   As can be seen, the known device offers serious drawbacks which are systematically eliminated by the new device, object of the invention.

   A first characteristic relates to the support of the glass or cup which is produced by a very special profile obtained by the complex folding of a filiform element or a thin rod. This profile is such that it has a dorsal element formed of two vertical branches, or approximately vertical,

   superiorly joined together by a curved cross member and secured in its middle to the free end of a small bracket from a wall bracket allowing the device to be fixed to any walls or generally arbitrary objects. The two vertical branches are inferiorly extended by straightening towards the front while approaching to merge into a tongue in the shape of an inverted U inclined towards the rear This profile is such that there remains a space between the dorsal part and the anterior tongue, sufficient space to allow the passage of the corresponding part of the glass or cup coming to rest on the two brackets formed by the straightening of the lateral branches of said dorsal part.

   In this way, the glass or goblet is immobilized in the inverted position and in conditions of total safety being prevented from falling in any direction whatsoever, being able to be separated from its support only by a translation from bottom to top.

  This support can itself serve as a support for one or more fasteners for one or more toothbrushes and it is obtained that, judiciously arranging said fasteners

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

 the toothbrush or brushes are protected by the upside-down glass or cup fixed in its support. Thus, ideal hygienic conditions are ensured both for the vessel and for the toothbrush (s).

   It is obviously possible, by means of this design, to produce simple or complex supports of different shapes and of equally varied presentations depending on the materials used, the cross section of the folded element, the number and arrangement of the brush supports and the arrangement and shape. of the mounting bracket.

   By way of example, without any limiting nature of the invention, two preferred embodiments are shown diagrammatically in the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a complex support allowing the attachment of a cup and of two toothbrushes.

   Figure 2 is a side view of the device of Figure 1 supporting a lens and a brush.

   Figure 3 is a variation of a vessel holder without a brush attachment.

   According to FIGS. 1 and 2, it will therefore be noted that the device is constituted by a thin rod bent so as to form a closed element having two straight branches 1-2 at the top joined by a cross member 3 curved towards the rear @; the two straight branches are lowered straight forward and extended so as to form a tongue 4 in the shape of an inverted U. This element is attached to a stem which is itself integral with an applique. Towards the front the tab has racks 7-8 for attaching toothbrushes.

   The ship! is placed by lowering it in the inverted position so that it is hooked by the tab 4

 <Desc / Clms Page number 4>

 resting on the brackets 9-10 formed by the lower upright part of the straight branches 1 and 2. The toothbrushes B are hooked directly into the racks 7-8 but in such a way that they are protected by lying covered by glass A.

   Figure 3 is a variant providing a support for vessel alone. from a filiform element 11 folded substantially as described in the previous device and also fixed to a bracket 5 integral with a bracket 6.

  These devices can be made from virtually any strong material capable of being bent in the manner shown. Thus, they can be made from metal, thermoplastic, or the like. Several such vessel supports can be combined together so as to form an assembly. Also, the method of fixing the support can be achieved in any other way than by a wall bracket.
