In hanging files whose sides meet at a point downwards, the file size is often insufficient. For this reason, we have always wanted to obtain files with a larger background, so that they can contain a larger volume. A disadvantage of these files, however, is that the background sags when the file is not sufficiently filled. If there is not then sufficient space in the box in which the file is to be suspended, the file lands on the bottom of the box, but in this case the idea of the suspended file disappears, and the background of the file wears out on the bottom of the case.
The object of the present invention is to eliminate this disadvantage and "Arrangement in files and more especially in suspended files."

consists in that the bottom is provided with a special reinforcing element, so that, when loaded, it is impossible for it to descend below the desired position.
The accompanying drawing shows, for comparison, in Figure 1 a file with the side pieces joining towards the bottom and, in Figure 2, a file with a wide bottom, which is lowered. Figures 3 and 4 show by way of example one embodiment of a file according to the present invention with a wide bottom, in the unloaded position and in the loaded position.
As seen in Figures 3 and 4, a stiff paper strip 2 is attached above the bottom of the file. Instead of canton, one can obviously use any other suitable material. This strip of paper 2 is folded in its middle in the direction of the length and is glued by its longitudinal edges at 3 on the bottom 1. The band 2 is wider than the bottom 1 of the file, which, together with the stiffness of band 1 adapted to each need, provides a fully satisfactory reinforcement of the background of the file.
The paper web can, if desired, be provided with protruding glued side parts, which are glued to the side parts of the file, so that a free space is formed extending over the entire width of the bottom of the file. file, in which a free reinforced strip of cardboard or other suitable material can be inserted, having a fold in the middle.
