Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

  Plastic wood pulp and its manufacturing process.

   In order to seal or plug the cracks, cracks or holes which exist in furniture or floors in particular, mastic is generally used. However, this product has the drawback of easily disintegrating under the action of temperature differences.

   The present invention relates to a new product consisting of plastic wood pulp which, given its woody composition, becomes intimately incorporated with the wood of the furniture, the parquet or the wooden article to be repaired and does not fall apart. not under the influence of heat or humidity.

   The preparation process for this product is as follows:
To obtain ten kilogs of plastic wood pulp, two kilograms of film (cellulose compound) are dissolved in the cold in eight liters of commercial acetone. To this solution are added three kilograms of wood flour and mixed until a homogeneous product is obtained having the consistency of ordinary mastic.

   The product obtained is stored and debited in containers of variable capacity with hermetic closure to protect it from the air, which would cause it to harden and would consequently render it unusable.

   Of course, one or the other of the constituents of the product obtained could be replaced by compounds and derivatives of the constituents having the same properties.
