Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

  PREFABRICATED ELEMENTS THAT CAN BE USED AS COVERING FOR ROOFS. The present invention relates to the construction of prefabricated elements which can be used as covering for roofs. formwork, etc. of unspecified material, mainly sheet steel, aluminum or any other metal.

  These elements, the principle of which is shown in sketch No. 1, have various particularities
Obtained for example without limitation by folding, they comprise ribs of height and width determined by the desirable moment of inertia, and by the admissible rate of work for the material used. The assembly can also include a wing, tenon or any other. other form (b) serving as a support for the possible additional element providing thermal insulation, for example: plates, panels, sheets, etc.

  This insulating element for ease of installation can be fixed in advance, sketch N 2 gives a possibility of such an assembly. It is also possible by shim. block. tape or in any other way maintain a certain distance between the covering element and the insulating element, which benefits from the surface coefficients, which greatly increases the insulating value of the assembly.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

  The fixing of the whole, insulated or not, on the support frame, joist etc. is done very simply by bolt, lag screw, hook etc.

  In general, the insulation is shorter than the covering part, and the junction is usefully made on the support, the covering obtained for the covering part ensures a tight assembly, this covering is variable with the nente of ', the roof. , moreover a wad of mastic, rope, etc. placed at the top of the overlap between the two elements would possibly help to perfect the abcheity
To show the diversity of possible shapes, a few non-limiting models are shown in sketches 3 4 5
ADVANTAGES: 1 The elements are economical, light, and high moment of inertia.

  The elements can very easily include an insulating or decorative finishing.

    # The elements are very easily transported and placed 4 The elements by their lightness reduce the dead weight and allow a great saving in the supports (Trusses, walls, beams etc,)
CLAIMS.

  1 Prefabricated elements for covers or chests 2 Prefabricated elements with thermal insulation forming a whole.
