CEINTURE D'HABILLEMENT OU DE SPORT A LANIERE ELASTIQUE.
Les rubans ordinaires de tissus élastiques sont peu appropriés à la confection des lanières de ceintures d'habillement ou de sport. Ils n'offrent ni la résistance,ni l'aspect avantageux nécessaires à cet emploi. Les lanières en cuir, en simili-cuir, en tresses,etco n'offrent, par elles-mêmes, qu'un degré d'élasticité très réduit, parfois nul, et ne se prêtent pas à des effets extérieurs très variés., à moins de recourir à des artifices qui en augmentent notablement le prix de revient déjà élevé.
La présente invention concerne une ceinture d'habillement ou de sport dont la lanière est élastique et fabiruqée en majeure partie en matière textile par conséquent de prix de revient modéré, bien que capable de rappeler, par le galbe et l'aspect général, celui des ceintures en cuir ou simili-cuir, tout en se prêtant Egalement aux fantaisies de coloris ou d'ornementation que seuls les tissus autorisent, cette ceinture étant douée au surplus d'une élasticité considérable dans toute sa longueur.
Une ceinture conforme à l'invention est caractérisée en ce que sa lanière est en tissu élastique tubulaire plat, à l'intérieur duquel est logée une bande de matière élastique bombée sur au moins une de ses faces et de largeur inférieure à celle du tube plat, cette bande assurant à celui-ci un aspect légèrement renflé plus avantageux sur la face d'endroit de la lanière, une èlasticité accrue de celle-ci, et une résistance plus grande de l'ensemble.
Selon un mode de réalisation de la lanière de cette ceinture, le tissu élastique tubulaire plat peut être du tissu élastique épais tissé en tube, de la façon connue.

liés l'un à l'autre sur leurs bords juxtaposés par des fils d'enserrage ou par piqûre.
Le tube plat est avantageusement bordé dans la zone de ses deux lignes de pliure et la bande élastique,de largeur inférieure, ne peut ainsi flotter latéralement dans le tube plat, cette bordure accentuant l'aspect bombé de la lanière.
La bande de matière élastique est avantageusement en caoutchouc ou bien en caoutchouc mousse. Sa propre élasticité travaille en harmonie avec celle du tube élastique tout en le renforçant et lui assurant un relief agréable à l'oeil.
Les deux rubans juxtaposés et liés par leurs bords pour constituer le tube peuvent être en tissus élastiques identiques ou différents. Leurs cou- leurs et aspects peuvent varier, l'un des rubans jouant le rôle d'envers de lanière.
Le tissu tubulaire peut être constitué par deux tissus d'armures identiques ou différentes possédant leurs propres fils de chaîne et leur propre nappe de gomme, leurs bords étant liés par des fils d'enserrage distincts.
Au moins l'une des faces du tube plat peut comporter tous les motifs ornementaux coloris.9 dessins, que permettent les rubans tissés.
Un mode de réalisation de cette lanière de ceinture élastique est représenté au dessin annexé à titre d'exemple purement illustratif, choisi parmi les plus simples.
La fig. 1 représente en coupe transversale à grande échelle une lanière de ceinture conforme à l'invention.
La fig. 2 en représente en plan un tronçon à la même échelle.
L'invention résidant uniquement dans le mode de confection de la lanière de la ceinture,il a paru superflu de représenter la ceinture tout entière avec sa bouclerie, celle-ci pouvant être d'un type quelconque, banal ou plus ou moins perfectionné.
La lanière de ceinture représentée ici se compose essentiellement d'un tissu tubulaire plat présentant un endroit 1, un envers 2. et une âme 3 constituée ici par une bande de caoutchouc qui est bombée sous la face d'endroit 1 du tube plat. Une bordure 4 a été constituée dans les deux zones de pliure transversale du tube.
Mais on pourrait obtenir le même résultat avec deux rubans distincts juxtaposés 1 et 2. Le tissu élastique du ruban g constituant l'envers de la lanière pourrait alors être de type différent du tissu élastique 1 constituant l'endroit. Les lignes de pliures , pourraient alors avantageusement constituer la ligne de démarcation entre le ruban élastique d'envers et le ruban élastique d'endroit I.
Des liens bords à bords peuvent être prévus dans la zone marginale 5.
Divers détails de réalisation de cette ceinture à lanière élastique pourraient varier sans qu'on s'écarte du cadre de l'invention.
REVENDICATIONS.
I.- Ceinture d'habillement ou de sport à lanière élastique, caractérisée en ce que sa lanière est en tissu élastique tubulaire plat à l'intérieur duquel est logée une bande de matière élastique bombée sur au moins une de ses faces et de largeur inférieure de celle du tube plat, cette bande assu- rant à celui-ci un aspect légèrement renflé plus avantageux sur la face d'endroit de la lanière, une élasticité accrue de celle-ci, et une résistance plus grande de l'ensemble.

CLOTHING OR SPORTS BELT WITH ELASTIC STRAP.
Ordinary ribbons of elastic fabrics are unsuitable for making thongs for clothing or sports belts. They offer neither the resistance nor the advantageous aspect necessary for this use. The present invention relates to a clothing or sports belt, the thong of which is elastic and manufactured for the most part in textile material therefore of moderate cost price, although capable of recalling, by the curve and the general appearance, that of leather or imitation leather belts, while also lending themselves to the whims of colors or ornamentation that only fabrics allow, this belt being endowed in addition with considerable elasticity throughout its length.
A belt according to the invention is characterized in that its thong is made of flat tubular elastic fabric, inside which is housed a band of elastic material curved on at least one of its faces and of width less than that of the flat tube. , this strip providing the latter with a slightly swollen appearance which is more advantageous on the front face of the strap, increased elasticity thereof, and greater resistance of the whole.
According to one embodiment of the thong of this belt, the flat tubular elastic fabric can be thick elastic fabric woven into a tube, in the known manner.
According to another embodiment of the strap, the flat tubular elastic fabric can be constituted by two ribbons of thick elastic fabric.

The flat tube is advantageously bordered in the area of its two fold lines and the elastic band, of smaller width, cannot thus float laterally in the flat tube, this border accentuating the curved appearance of the strap.
The strip of elastic material is advantageously made of rubber or else of foam rubber. Its own elasticity works in harmony with that of the elastic tube while reinforcing it and ensuring a relief pleasing to the eye.
The two ribbons juxtaposed and linked by their edges to form the tube can be made of identical or different elastic fabrics. Their colors and appearances may vary, with one of the ribbons acting as the back of the thong.
The tubular fabric can be formed by two fabrics of identical or different weaves having their own warp threads and their own rubber ply, their edges being linked by separate clamping threads.
At least one of the faces of the flat tube may have all the ornamental patterns in color. 9 designs, which the woven ribbons allow.
One embodiment of this elastic waist strap is shown in the accompanying drawing by way of purely illustrative example, chosen from among the simplest.
Fig. 1 shows in cross section on a large scale a belt strap according to the invention.

The invention residing solely in the method of making the thong of the belt, it seemed superfluous to represent the entire belt with its buckles, the latter possibly being of any type, ordinary or more or less sophisticated.
The belt strap shown here consists essentially of a flat tubular fabric having a place 1, a back 2 and a core 3 here constituted by a rubber band which is convex under the face 1 of the flat tube. A border 4 has been formed in the two transverse fold zones of the tube.
But the same result could be obtained with two separate juxtaposed ribbons 1 and 2. The elastic fabric of the ribbon g constituting the back of the strap could then be of a different type from the elastic fabric 1 constituting the face. The fold lines could then advantageously constitute the line of demarcation between the elastic band of reverse side and the elastic band of location I.
Edge-to-edge links can be provided in the marginal zone 5.
Various details of the realization of this elastic strap belt could vary without departing from the scope of the invention.
CLAIMS.
I.- Clothing or sports belt with elastic strap, characterized in that its strap is of flat tubular elastic fabric inside which is housed a band of elastic material curved on at least one of its faces and of lesser width from that of the flat tube, this strip providing the latter with a slightly swollen appearance which is more advantageous on the front face of the strap, an increased elasticity of the latter, and a greater resistance of the whole.
