Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

   The present invention relates to a device for the vertical mounting of float valves in toilet flushes, which is mainly characterized in that the inlet tube leading to the float valve is arranged vertically from the lower surface. of the flush and located inside a groove formed from the outside in the wall of the flush, the roof of the groove carrying the valve, which inlet tube is connected to the water pipe circuit by means a mobile connection via a branch pipe and a closing valve.

   An embodiment of the invention is shown by way of example in the accompanying drawings.

   Figure 1 shows a toilet seat, seen from the front, Figure 2 is a part of this seat, seen from above ,. Figure 3 is a partial section, on a larger scale, of the connection and the shut-off valve joined by a branch tube.

   In the drawing, 1 designates the flush in the rear wall of which a groove 2 open from the outside is arranged. The roof of the groove carries a float valve, not shown, with an intake tube 3 arranged in the groove and coming from the underside of the flush.

   The inlet tube 3 is connected to the water pipe network by a connection 5, a branch tube 6 and a shut-off valve 7.

   The connection 5 consists of a body 8 with a cavity 9 and of a movable connection piece 10 surrounding the body 8. Annular seals 11 are placed between the body 8 and the connection piece 10 which is fixed in position by relative to the body 8 by tightening the nut 12. Thanks to this movable connection 10, it is possible to obtain a right-hand or left-hand assembly without having to reassemble the float valve.

   The closing valve 7 is provided with movable outlet and inlet means, 13 and 14, of the same constructions as the connection. These means 13 and 14 are fixed in position on the valve by tightening the nut 15.
