Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

  Dynamo box for bicycles and others, with removable cover.

   The invention relates to a dynamo housing for bicycles and the like, provided with a removable cover, in which the fixing of the cover to the rest of the housing is provided by a member whose ends grip the inner side of the remainder. of the housing, while the cover is fixed .audit member using screws.

   In a known form of construction of the aforementioned type, the cover is removed by loosening the screws. We can then detach the housing cover, but the member remains attached to the rest of the housing which further prevents disassembly of the dynamo.

   The invention obviates this drawback.

   According to the invention, the assembly between the member in

 cause and the remaining part of the case is secured by a bayonet lock, while the screws serve to lock the organ in the remaining part of the case.

   This engagement allows the dynamo to be disassembled after loosening the screws and removing the component. In order to prevent. expensive that the cover comes off during use, under the effect of impact or. vibrations, the screws ensure at the same time the locking of said member in the rest of the housing. With the cover in place, the tightening of the screws brings the cover closer to the organ. The cover occupying a fixed position relative to the rest of the casing, this tightening modifies the position of the organ relative to the rest of the casing, which makes it possible to ensure. the organ in a position preventing its rota.tion. Loosening the screws therefore makes it possible to modify the position of the member with respect to the rest of the housing so as to remove the locking.

   This gives a very secure method of attachment, although the housing is easily removable.

   According to another particular feature of the invention, the rest of the housing comprises, on the inside, lugs for fixing the member, while at its ends, the member has recesses into which the lugs penetrate.

   The description of the appended drawing, given by way of nonlimiting example, will make it clear how the invention can be carried out, the particularities which emerge both from the text and from the drawing being, of course, part of the invention. .

   Fig. 1 shows, partially in section, a dynamo housing according to the invention.

   Fig. 2 is a section taken along the plane II-II of FIG. 1.

   Fig. 3 is a plan view of a fastener.

   A cover 1 is removably attached to the rest
2 of a dynamo box. This fixing is effected by means of a member 3, in the form of a plate, the ends 4 of which are joined by means of a bayonet closure, with lugs 5.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

   The cover 1 is fixed to the member 3 by means of screws 6. The ends 4 of the member 3 comprise recesses 7 in which are located, in the state shown shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the pins 5.

   Disassembly is carried out as follows. The screws 6 are first loosened and the cover 1 is removed. The member 3 is then moved upwards which frees the lugs 5 from the recesses 7; we turn member 3 with respect to the rest
2 of the casing until its ends 4 are entirely free from the lugs 5. The member 3 can then be removed in the axial direction of the casing. The magnetic circuit of the dynamo is then accessible and can be taken out of the housing. The cover 1 is fitted in reverse order.
