<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

The present invention relates to improvements to the device for adjusting the tension of the yarn for spindles, more particularly those for twisted yarns, in which there is a metal yarn which serves to guide and to tension the textile yarn, according to the main patent N 531,408.
The object of the invention is to improve the tension regulating metal wire, one of the arms of which passes through the thread insertion member and of which the other, which is curved, passes around the insertion member of the wire. wire.
The textile thread tension is compensated by the fact that the thread guide acts on the lifting point of the thread of the unwinding spool to shape it sooner or later.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
depending on the thread tension, and in particular when the tension decreases, a reserve of thread is formed or else when the tension increases, the feeding of the thread is accelerated. If the adjustment device must be particularly sensitive and if it must react to the slightest difference in tension, the friction of the supports of the metal wire which serves to guide the textile thread must be very low during advancement, and of on the other hand, the acceleration and retardation forces resulting from the mass of the yarn guide during the tension compensations are between tolerable limits.
In order to allow easy introduction of the textile yarn at the place where the yarn passes over the introduction member of the latter, it has already been proposed to make the arm of the metal wire which passes around the introduction of the wire support. textile yarn, on a bead formed on the outer periphery of the yarn introducer member so that the metal yarn does not touch the place where the textile yarn passes through the introducer member, thus preventing a unwanted wedging of the textile yarn.
In certain cases, in particular when it is a question of very small wires or when it is a question of a particularly rapid unwinding of the wire, and when the metal wire consequently turns with a high number of revolutions, the length of the free arm of the metal wire with its textile yarn guide eyelet provided at its outer end, 'can cause disturbances because in this case the mass effects of the textile yarn guide arm become too great under the influence of the force centrifugal, and the sensitivity of the adjustment of the tension of the textile thread suffers.
For such cases, according to one embodiment of the object of the main patent, it is proposed here to considerably shorten the guide arm of the textile yarn and to give it
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
a conformation such that the much too high acceleration and retardation forces are brought back to a tolerable value or even that they disappear completely. This is achieved by the fact that the metal wire in the form of a stirrup, one arm of which passes through the insertion member of the wire, rests with the end of the other arm which passes around the member of the wire. introduction of the thread, on the bead which is located at the outer periphery of the member for introducing the thread.
The actual guiding of the textile thread is done here by means of a slide, an arc or an elbow formed in the curved arm which passes around the member for introducing the textile thread, and more particularly to the end which rests on the bead.
,
The accompanying drawings schematically show several embodiments, and in particular @
Fig. 1 shows, partially in section, the organ for introducing the textile thread, which is inserted on the sleeve of the spool, and also shows the metal wire used to guide the textile thread.
Fig. 2 is a plan view of the metal wire used to guide the textile wire.
Figs. 3 to 10 show four other embodiments of the metal wire serving to guide the textile thread with the upper part of the element for introducing the textile thread partially in section, seen each time from the side and from above.
As shown in Figure 1, the thread introducer member adapted to be inserted on the spool sleeve 1, is formed of several parts. This organ, however, could possibly be made in one piece. In the present case, it consists of a cone 2, a head 3 inserted on the recessed groove of the cone, a rubber tightening ring 4
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
and a protection ring 5 arranged around the ring 4.
The thread guide is introduced with one of its arms 6 into the axial perforation of the thread introduction member; it has sufficient play so that it does not interfere with the textile thread which passes through it and even when threading there is still enough room for the required metallic thread. The other curved and shortened arm 7 of the metal wire passes around the member for introducing the textile thread and rests with its end in the groove 8 which was formed by the insertion of the head 3 on the narrowed part of the cone 2. The arms 6, 7 can therefore be elastically separated so that they slide on the head 3 of the member for introducing the thread, and on the other hand even during the passage of the metal thread. threading or in operation, they are not repelled by the textile thread.
The weight of the metallic thread used to guide the textile thread can vary according to the resistance of the textile thread and the tension which must be given to the latter.
The actual guiding of the textile yarn is done by means of a slide, an arc, an elbow or the like.
Advantageously, it is inclined relative to the axis of rotation and can, as shown in Figures 1 and 2, 3 and 4, and designated; By the number 9, be arranged either on the curved arm 7 of the metal wire, either as shown in figures 5 and 6, 7 and 8, 9 and 10 and designated by the number 10, be arranged at the bottom end of the bent arm 7 of the metal wire which rests in the groove 8. To facilitate putting on, the outermost end 11du arm 7 can be spread laterally or bent backwards.
The head 3, or the thread passage surfaces as well as the protective ring 5 can, in order to obtain a particularly advantageous sliding, be made of material which is very resistant to wear, for example of
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
varnished ceramic, or hard chrome-plated and polished steel, or the like.
It is possible to use for the remaining body serving for the introduction of the thread, and more particularly for the cone 2, a material which is less resistant to wear and which is cheaper.
As in the main patent, the thread guide 6, 7 which passes on its way from the feed spool on the head and through the middle part of the spool and which tightens the thread, being rotated by the thread around of the spool axis.
Thanks to the special shortened conformation of the arm serving to guide the textile thread, which passes around the thread introduction member, the centrifugal effect of the masses when they are in operation is considerably reduced. The sensitivity of the adjustment of the tension of the textile thread is thus increased. This is of considerable importance when processing very fine threads, more particularly for their rapid, flawless removal at a high number of turns.
