Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 4>

   <Desc / Clms Page number 1>

   The invention relates to a method of rapid covering or coating by the use of metal or plastic bands, which does not require the perch of the bands for their attachment to the frame, thus eliminating the lack of sealing and the slowness of adjustment for the assembly of the strips, the main feature being the rapid installation of the constituent elements of the roof, fitted into each other, the device for fixing to the frame being withdrawn from external agents.

   The material of the moors is either metallic or plastic. Each strip is made up of a rectangular surface, one of the edges of which has an interlocking or female rib, and the other edge has a recessed or male rib.

   In a first arrangement, each of the bands constituting the cover is connected to the purlins of the frame by hooks matching the male rib; then one surrounds this one of the @ female of the following band, of which one connects the male rib to the purlins with a new series of hooks.

   In a first variant, the head of the attachment hook conforms to the shape of the female rib, the male rib only being fitted into the female rib, without direct connection to the hook.

   In a second variant, the profile given to the female rib remains that of the previous variant, but the profile given to the male rib offers the peculiarity that one can either use an attachment hook at a single beak fixing the female rib, or a hook with two beaks fixing both the female and male ribs.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

   The third variant offers an example of ribs with rounded shapes, allowing, as before, a double hooking, but with the advantage of making it very easy to fit the male rib into the female rib, when we present the new strip to be laid obliquely, with respect to the strip already in place, the semi-cylindrical shapes of the conjugate ribs facilitating the maneuver.

   In two other variants, the male and female ribs have the same profile on the part where they hook, which in the fourth variant is made up of two planes forming a dihedral, while in the fifth variant it is made up of 'a semi-cylindrical surface.

   In the fourth variant, the hook head follows the dihedron and in the fifth variant, it follows the semi-cylindrical surface.

   FIG. 1 shows the first variant of a cover strip comprising on the right a female rib made up of five planes, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and on the left a male rib made up of two planes 7, 8, the flat part which separates the two ribs being 6; the head 9 of the attachment hook. 10 follows the dihedral 4, 5 of the female rib.

   FIG. 2 shows the second variant of a cover strip comprising on the right a female rib identical to the previous one and on the left a male rib made up of four planes 7, 8, 9, 10, the flat part separating the sections. two ribs is 6. Use may be made, for fixing, either of hooks of identical shape to the hooks used in the first variant, or of hooks 11 with two heads 12.

   Figure 3 shows the third variant

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

 a cover strip comprising on the right a female rib made up of a semi-cylinaric surface 1 and two planes 2,3, and on the left a male rib made up of two planes 5, 6, and a surface demi-cylinari-- que 7, which, during installation, fits exactly into the female rib, of the adjoining strip; the flat part which separates the two ribs is 4; the hook 9 can be with two heads 8 or with a single head as in the first variant.

   FIG. 4 shows the fourth Variant comprising on the right a: female rib made up of planes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and on the left a male rib made up of planes 8, 9, 10; the flat part separating the two ribs is 7. The dihedrons formed by 1 and 2 and by and 10 being equal, the head 11 of the hook forms with the body 12 an angle equal to the dihedron formed by 1 and
2 and by 9 and 10.

   Dotted lines show a variant of detail which, in the female rib eliminates plane 3, and in the male rib, lengthens plane 9, increasing the bearing surface of the female rib on the male rib, and also filling the void existing under the female rib.

   FIG. 5 shows the fifth variant which, in principle, is similar to the fourth, the hooking dihedron being replaced by a semi-cylindrical surface; the female rib consists of the semi-cylindrical surface 1 of planes 2, 3, 4, 5 and the male rib consists of the semi-cylindrical surface 8 tangent internally to the semi-cylindrical surface 1 of the strip contiguous; the flat part separating the two ribs is 6. The head 9 of the hook conforms to the semi-cylindrical surface 1 which itself conforms to the surface.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 4>

 semi-cylindrical 8 of the contiguous strip.

   Dotted lines show a variant of detail which, from the female rib, makes plane 2 disappear and by the profile given to the male rib fills the void existing under the female rib.

   In the five figures, round iron hooks have been shown; It goes without saying that it might as well be made use of - flat iron hooks.

   CLAIMS
