<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
<Desc/Clms Page number 7>
@
<Desc/Clms Page number 8>
<Desc/Clms Page number 9>

The present invention relates to a stopper in several parts for containers of all kinds, the elements of which are made of elastic or inelastic material, for example polyethylene or polystyrene. -
The object of the invention is to ensure a closure which cannot slide by itself on the neck of the container, for example as a result of a strong internal pressure. On the other hand, the stopper according to the invention also ensures time a guarantee of origin because it allows to see if the container has already been opened,
This stopper can be produced for example in the form of an ordinary stopper, spray stopper, dropper stopper. sprinkler cap, pouring cap or pipette.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
According to the invention, the obturating part of the stopper is protected from any tearing or sliding outwards resulting from internal pressure, by a self-clamping member with a wedging effect. The following arrangement can be chosen: the to-clamp element itself is wedge-shaped and the neck of the container or the closing part of the stopper is provided with an inclined face. It is also possible to provide an inclined surface both on the neck and on the stopper, the blocking then taking place by the wedge between 'two parallel faces.
The closing part of the stopper can therefore be opened only after unlocking the wedge on the neck.
To this end, the wedge will be provided for example with a collar resting on the edge of the neck.
The position of the clamping wedge relative to the stopper can be made invariable by a head rigidly connected to the obturating part of the stopper.
According to the invention, the guarantee of origin is ensured by the fact that the release of the clamping wedge is not possible without damaging or even destroying all or part of the stopper or the neck of the receptacles.
For this purpose, the head rigidly connected to the obturating part of the stopper may for example cover the collar of the clamping element which is located outside the neck or even cover the neck itself. The clamping element can only be released after damage or destruction of the head or part thereof.
Another possibility of realization consists in providing the clamping element with one or more parts projecting the neck and making it possible to grasp it and to release it from the neck by destruction or permanent deformation while the closing part of the stopper is released without being damaged. .
Then, after extraction of the clamping element, only the closing part of the stopper can be inserted again.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
in the neck if the content is not emptied at once,
The blocking element may also not be accessible from the outside and therefore not be separable from the neck. In this case, the closure part will preferably be shaped so that it can only be opened in 'extracting it with a corkscrew, cutting it, piercing it, tearing it off.
The drawings show various embodiments of the invention.

Fig. 17 represents a stopper guaranteeing the origin as in fig. 10 but serving as a pouring cap.
Fig 18 is a section along e-f of fig 17.
In figs. 1 to 3, 1 is the neck of the container, bottle or the like, 2 a part of the closing wall of the stopper, and 3 the locking element located between the neck and the sealing part of the stopper.
The neck 1 or the obturating part 2 must comprise at least one inclined surface la or 2a, in the example according to FIG. 3, the neck 1 and the obturating part of the stopper 2 are each provided with an inclined face la, and 2a ,. In this case, the locking element 3 can have two parallel bearing faces.
Parts 1, 2 and 3 are hollow bodies of revolution having a common axis 4.
In figs. 4, 5, 5a. and 6, the shutter part 2 is a hollow body in the form of a plug. This can be closed at its lower part by a bottom 5, as shown in Figs, 4, 5 and 6. The shutter part 2 comprises one or more sealing flanges 6. Above the sealing flange upper 6, the outer face 2! il, of the shutter part 2 is conical in shape tapering upwards. The upper end of the obturator part has the shape of a circular cylinder 8, on which is fitted the head 10, with cylindrical walls 9. As at least the obturator part 2 is made of elastic material, the latter does not form that a completely rigid with the head 10 after fitting of the latter.
When the head 10 is fitted onto the element 2, the air between the walls 8 and 9 is expelled.
The locking element 3 has the shape of a flared ring towards
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
the bottom and the inner face 11 of which cooperates with the conical outer face 2a of the obturating part 2. The lower end 12 of the ring 3 narrows' !: conically in order to facilitate the introduction into the neck of the container 1.
The element 3 can be provided, on its outer face., With grooves 13, or slots 14. The upper end of this clamping element is in the form of a covering disc 15 i which is accessible from the outside and inside. which is housed the head 10. 16 is a deaeration groove extending a 'groove 13.
In the embodiment according to figure 5a, the shutter part 2 is open at its lower end. In many cases it is desirable that the contents of the container not be in contact with the plastic material of the stopper 2.
A partition wall 18, of the desired thickness and carrying a male part 17 which can be pushed into the lower opening of the plug 2, serves to mask this opening. This partition wall may be made of a material other than the stopper, this material being determined as a function of the contents of the receptacle. This partition 18 may, for example, be made of cork or of cork agglomerate. Washers 19, of natural cork, can be added to the wall 18.
In the embodiment according to fig. 6, the head 10 covers the neck of the container. To this end, it comprises an additional outer wall 20, which may be of the same material as the head and form a single piece with it. This outer wall 20 is connected to the head 10 so as to be able to be easily detached from it. this. There can be provided for this purpose a tongue 21 and further a notch 22 in the thickness of the wall 10 (left half of FIG. 6). The right half of fig. 6 shows a second possibility of making the detachable wall 20.
This wall 20 can be detached from the head 10 if the latter is cut along the plane 23,
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
The operation of the stopper according to figs. 4 to 6 is as follows:
The shutter part 2 and the locking element 3 which surrounds it are introduced together into the neck of the receptacle by exerting sufficient pressure on the head 10. The two inclined faces 2a and 11 are then not aligned and with each other. As soon as an overpressure occurs inside the container, the closure part 2 moves in an axial direction outwards as shown in fig 5. The higher the pressure in the container, the more the closure part 2 is pushed. outwards.
It 'cannot however be released from the neck 1 because as soon as the two inclined surfaces 2a and 11 touch each other, the locking element comes into play and gets stuck more and more between the neck of the container 1 and the part shutter 2 of the plug.
To open the container, the blocking element 3 will be released from the neck by laterally pressing the cover disc 15. This operation can also be facilitated by simultaneously or previously exerting, on the head 10, sufficient pressure to move slightly towards inside the blocking element 3. The clamping between element 3 and the neck of the container on the one hand, and on the other hand between this same element 3 and the sealing part 2 of the plug. As soon as element 3 has left the neck, the obtura part dried up ;; is automatically released.
The grooves 13 or the castings 14 allow an easier insertion and release of the clamping element in the neck of the container 1.
In the embodiment according to fig. 6, the side wall 20 must first be detached before lateral pressure can be exerted on the cover disc 15 to release the clamping element 3. This provides the guarantee of origin thanks to the wall 20. .

@
In the embodiments according to FIGS. 7 to 9, the locking element 3 comprises a shank 24 projecting from the neck of the container 1. In addition, the element S is weakened at 3a. This weakening can be produced parallel to the axis of element 3 or else obliquely with respect to the latter. As shown in the drawing, the shank 24 coming out of the neck 1 is first of all parallel to the axis of the element 3. When the head 10 is fitted onto the stopper 2, the latter folds up the protruding part. 24 down (fig. 7).
To open, the shank 24 is grasped, which releases the locking element 3 from the neck 1 of the receptacle. The element 3 then tears at 3a.
In the event that the destruction of the elements 3 is not complete, a permanent deformation can however be caused. of this element, which has the same results, namely the original guarantee. The element 3 can no longer, after rupture or permanent -function, be introduced into the neck 1 of the tar reopient against, the shutter part 2 can again be introduced into the neck in the event that the content of this re - container is not fully used.
The embodiments according to figs. 10 et seq. Include obturating parts, the lower end of which is open and the upper ends of which are suitable for various purposes.
The locking element 3 is then not accessible from the outside, that is to say from the top. The element 3 cannot therefore be released from the neck 1 without destroying all or part of the stopper. , The caps according to figs. 10 and following must be opened by cutting, piercing, drilling or partial pulling out of the shutter part 2.
In the embodiment according to fig. 10, the obturator part 2 is provided with a flange 25 entirely covering the locking element 5. Above this flange,
<Desc / Clms Page number 8>
the shutter part 2 comprises a hollow conical button 26, closed at its upper part.,
In order to be able to put the blocking element 3 in place on the shutter part 2, this element is split at 27 (fig.ll).
This slot 27 is diametrically opposed to a notch 28.
This makes it possible to open Insulation 3 in order to place it on the obturator part 2. By elasticity, the locking element then resumes the shape shown in FIG. 11. We can then introduce the closure part 2, with the element 3 which surrounds it, into the neck 1 of the container.
To open the container for the first time, the glue: this 25, together with the upper conical button 26, is torn off in the area of the weakened 29. The stopper 2 thus forms the opening of the container. To temporarily close this opening, the flange 25, with the button 26, can be turned over by 100 and inserted into the opening of the stopper 2.
In the embodiment according to fig 12, the closing part of the stopper 2 in the form of a spray nozzle, closed at its upper end by a plate 50. 29 is a notch under the closing plate 30. During the. First use of the container, the upper plate 30 is cut along this notch, which opens the body of the stopper. The part of the stopper 2 which protrudes from the coulot of the container can also be covered by a coping 31.
The neck of the container comprises, under the closure part 2, a constriction 1b which limits the insertion of the stopper 2.
Figs. 13 and 14 represent the closing part of a pouring cap. Ribs 32 support an ura inlet tube 33 inside the body of the stopper 2. After the disc 30 has been cut off air can enter through the tube 33 inside the container while the disc 30 has been cut off. liquid can flow into the space between the ribs 32.
<Desc / Clms Page number 9>
The dropper cap according to fig. 15 is characterized in that the body of the stopper 2, which is held in the neck of the container by the locking element 3, comprises a weakening 54 forming a recess and which follows the cover 30. In addition, internal ribs 55 are provided. at this height ..
36 designates a tube introduced from below inside the stopper body 2 and which is extended by an air inlet tube 33. The tube 36 is provided at its lower end with one or more grooves 37 of liquid outlet. In its upper part 36a, the tube 36 is weaker so that between the wall of the stopper body 2 and the part 36a an annular chamber 38 is formed, into which the liquid outlet grooves 37 emerge. The tube 36 further comprises a lower flange 39, which prevents the tube from moving outwardly relative to the stopper body 2.
To open the stopper, the cover 30 is cut just above the recess 34. The ribs 35 then serve as stabilization preventing crushing. The parts remaining after this cutting in the annular chamber 38 ensure the centering of the inner tube 36a.
In the pouring cap according to figs. 17 and 18, the cover 30 is inclined relative to the axis of the stopper. The air inlet tube 33 is eccentric towards the internal wall of the plug body 2.
