The present invention relates to a decorative metal wall covering, with invisible fixing and joints, applying to the flat or curved framework of a wall or a wall, and offering the advantages to be assembled quickly and easily, to provide a barrier to the passage of water at the joints, and to allow the mounting brackets to be placed in the required number and in the suitable places to form pressure-resistant panels the wind. Furthermore, the invention allows the use of sheets of a thickness less than that usually used for metal constructions of this type, these sheets being able to be of any length, limited only by the transport facilities.
According to the invention, the covering consists of panels of metal sheets folded so as to form vertical bands juxtaposed in different planes, partly re

linked together by double folds hiding the end of an adjacent panel and forming on the back grooves with a dovetail section receiving the invisible fastening and / or tightening members. The double folds are preferably arranged at the intersection of the vertical bands parallel to the plane of the framework of the wall and of the bands forming inversely corresponding angles with the plane of the framework, the latter bands being connected between they by bands located in a second plane parallel to that of the framework.
The members' for fastening and / or clamping the end of an adjacent panel comprise a slide which can be moved in the grooves with a dovetail section, a bracket don-. against the double folds and a nut screw implanted in the slider, passing through the bracket and, if necessary, an element of the frame of the wall, allowing to loosen the end of the adjacent panel inserted in a fold and / or to fix the panel on the frame of the wall. The coating may further include invisible stiffeners which are independent of the framework and fixed by fastening and / or clamping members on the back of one or more panels., Which allows to space the points at will. fastener securing the coating to the wall frame.
Advantageously, the wall covering panels are made of light metal, for example aluminum or an alloy of this metal used in the form of thin sheets.
The accompanying drawing shows by way of example a preferred embodiment of the invention.
FIG. 1 is an end view of a covering panel, and FIG. 2 shows the method of assembling two panels and a fixing and / or clamping member.
The covering panels are obtained by bending sheets, preferably sheets of light metal, such as aluminum.

or: an aluminum alloy, so as to form. bands vertica the adjoining ones, of which, bands 1 are in a plane parallel to that of the framework of the wall to be coated, bands 2 in a plane parallel: to. first, and whose bands 3 and 4 are arranged obliquely between bands 1 and 2, connected to bands 2 by double folds 5 and 6 and to bands 1 by single elbows. At the ends, the panel has on the left a narrow blade 7 and on the right a blade 8 wide enough to be inserted between the blade 7 and the fold 6 of the adjacent panel, thus making the joint between the two panels invisible.
The folds 5 and 6 of the strip 2 form on the back of the panel a groove with a dovetail section in which the slider 9 carrying the screw 10 with the nut 11 can be moved. The bracket 12, crossed by the screw 10, presses against strips 3 and 7 if the slider 9 is placed in the left end groove of the panel (fig.2) or against strips 3 and 4 when the slider occupies a? groove inside the panel, and tightening the nut 11 has the effect of clamping the end band 8 of the adjacent panel into the slot between the narrow band 7 and the ply 6, so that in use - reading the desired number of slides, the bands 7 and 8 can be tightened against each other and form a barrier against the entry of rainwater driven by the wind against the wall.
An element 13 which may represent an element of the frame of the wall or a stiffener extending over one or more panels without forming part of the frame, is clamped by the nut 11 against the bracket 12, or by securing the covering with the framework, or to stiffen the panels and prevent the vibrations which can be caused by gales.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment which has been described and shown by way of example, and one would not depart from its scope by making modifications thereto.
