Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 'définitive'des pochettes transparentes destinées à renfermer des documents à protéger, tels que par exemple,des cartes d'identité et autres documents analogues.

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

   Ces pochettes sont perforées en 5,5 de telle manière que la série des pochettes 4 peut ainsi être fixée à l'intérieur de l'enveloppe 1 au moyen d'organes 6,6 de fixation constitués par deux   boutons-pression,chacun   de ces   dispositif s,comportant,   comme on sait, une embase 6a et une tête 6b;

 <Desc/Clms Page number 4>

   The object of the present invention is an improved card holder remarkable in that it comprises in combination a protective envelope provided with press-studs fixing, in a removable manner, a series of transparent pockets of suitable format for cards or other documents. to be protected on the average these pussies po) the latter being perforated to be fixed in a removable manner in said envelope by means of said press studs.

   According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, said transparent pockets are made of transparent plastic.

   It is known to produce card holders comprising an envelope inside which are fixedly fixed.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 'definitive' transparent pockets intended to enclose documents to be protected, such as, for example, identity cards and other similar documents.

   These card holders have the drawback that in order to use a document independently of the others, the user is obliged to extract this document from its transparent pocket even though this operation would not be necessary for reading this document. Handling this document has the drawback of exposing it to possible soiling or deterioration; the operation of extracting the document from its sleeve can also sometimes present difficulties, the sleeve being often fragile and capable of being torn, especially when the document has sticky parts which make it adhere to the wall internal envelope.

   The card holder according to the invention overcomes these difficulties; with a card holder of this type, a document can be removed from the card holder while remaining inside its protective envelope.

   Other characteristics will result from the description which follows. In the accompanying drawing: FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a card holder according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention; Fig. 2 is a view of the same card holder showing the pockets released from the binding device.

   According to the embodiment shown, the card holder comprises an outer casing 1 which may for example be made of leather, plastic or other suitable material. In the case shown in FIG, 1, this envelope comprises a tab 2 which is folded under an attachment flange 3 making it possible to keep the card holder closed.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

 but this envelope can be of any usual shape and, in particular, consist of a cover similar to a book cover, formed of two flats and a spine.

   Inside this envelope are arranged a number of transparent pockets 4, each of these pockets being constituted for example, in a manner known per se, by a plastic sheet folded over and glued or welded on three of its edges in a, bc of dimensions appropriate to those of the documents to be protected, practically of dimensions appropriate to those of a usual portfolio.

   These pockets are perforated in 5.5 so that the series of pockets 4 can thus be fixed inside the envelope 1 by means of fixing members 6,6 constituted by two press studs, each of these device s, comprising, as is known, a base 6a and a head 6b;

   the base is fixed on one of the panels of the casing and the head on the other panel, so that when the card holder is folded up, as shown in Fig.l, the two parts of each button are to the right from each other and can be assembled by simple @ pressure. @
This device makes it possible to easily fix a document inside the card holder and to detach it without having to extract this document from its transparent envelope.

   It is understood that the invention is not limited to the embodiments shown and described which have been given only by way of example. For example, the press-studs can be fixed not on the panels themselves but on tongues or bands integral with the panels.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 4>

   The pockets can be made of transparent plastic of any suitable type.
