"Dispositif d'emballage"
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

"Packaging device"
The present invention relates to a packaging device, this expression to be taken in a very broad sense, that is to say encompassing any device intended to contain a material or an object. It will be for example, a box, a boot, a case, a bottle, etc., intended to contain a material or an object which one wishes to put particularly one evidently in. when it is sold, when it is displayed in windows etc.
To this end, the packaging device according to the invention comprises an arrangement for lighting the material or object contained in this device, as well as automatic or mechanical means.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
nuals to operate this light at a chosen time.
According to a particular embodiment, the device has on the outside a manual switch for lighting the inside of this device in the closed or open state.
According to another embodiment, the device comprises a switch which automatically actuates a lighting circuit when the packaging device is opened.
According to yet another embodiment, the device comprises a switch automatically actuating a lighting circuit when this device is moved, for example lifted from a support,
Other details and features of the invention will emerge from the description given below by way of non-limiting example and with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figures 1 and 2 show two types of boxes with automatic lighting when opened, i
FIG. 3 shows a type of box that can be lit in the closed state or when it is opened, automatically or manually.
FIG. 4 shows, by way of indication, an electrical diagram suitable for the automatic lighting of the box of FIG. 3.
FIG. 5 shows a packaging device, consisting of a bottle and which can also be automatically illuminated.
The type of packaging provided with lighting according to the invention can be very diverse. These can be cases for precious objects, such as jewelry, for perfume bottles, for lighters, etc. It may also be the bottles themselves and, in general, the packaging of any object or any object itself which it is particularly desirable to display for advertising or sales purposes.
The box 1 of figure 1 includes any lamp
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
which 2 Powered by a battery 3 and whose electrical circuit closes, in order to illuminate the interior of the cabinet, when the latter is opened; for this purpose and by way of example, when the box is opened, a fixed element 4 thereof releases a button 5 by moving away from it, this button acting on a switch which closes the circuit d lighting, so that the object contained in the box is illuminated each time it is opened.
, A similar box is shown in Figure 2. In this case, the objects 6 are installed on a false bottom 7, made for example of a translucent colored material, and below which is one or more lamps (not shown) actuated again by releasing a button 5, These same boxes of Figures 1 and 2 could be illuminated when they are opened by actuating an external manual switch.
Thus, in FIG. 3 which shows a box of which a part 8 of the front face 9 is transparent, a manual switch 10 has been provided which makes it possible to illuminate the object 11 contained in this box at will. It is also possible to illuminate such an object 11 by lighting which comes on in the transparent or translucent base 12 carrying this object, and this when the box is lifted. For this purpose, the base 12 (FIG. 4) comprises a lamp 13 mounted in a circuit comprising a battery 14 and a switch 15, the latter closing the circuit when the box is lifted; for this purpose, a button 16 pushed down by a spring 17 when the box is lifted, allows the contact of two blades 18 and 19 with a view to closing the electrical circuit.
On the other hand, when the box is placed on any support, the button 16 is pushed upwards and moves the blade 18 away from the blade 19. This is a primary and very schematic system among the many devices. that can be used.
The same principle as in Figure 4 is applied for the illumination of the bottle 20 of Figure 5. The lighting device is mounted there under the hollow base 21 of the bottle and
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
comes into operation when the cylinder is lifted.
Many other arrangements could obviously be provided and it will therefore be understood that the invention is not limited to the details given but that many variations are possible without departing from the scope of the present patent.
