Un panier de manutenti n du type défini ci-dessus et conforme L l'invention est caractérisé en ce que l'un au moins de deux jeux do butées est disposé à un endroit suffisamment plus proche de l'une que de l'autre des parois d'une paire de parois opposées, afin que dans une certaine position relative de doux paniers semblables, cas derniers puissent être empilés l'un sur l'autre, clora que l'arôte inférieur-: de l'une de deux parois opposées du panier aupérieur est écartée à l'intérieur, de l'arête supérieure de l'une des parois opposées du panier inferieur, d'une distança suffisante pour délimiter, entre les deux parois ainsi espacées, une ouverture permettant d'accéder au contenu du plus inférieur des deux paniers ainsi empilés, chacun d'eux étant pourvu;

A basket of this type is the subject of Frangain patent n 1,237,073
The object of the present invention is an improved or new stackable and nestable handling basket which allows, if desired, easy access in a stack of basket, to the contents of one or more of them located. below the highest basket in the stack.
A handling basket of the type defined above and in accordance with the invention is characterized in that at least one of two sets of stops is arranged at a place sufficiently closer to one than to the other of the stops. walls of a pair of opposing walls, so that in a certain relative position similar soft baskets, last cases can be stacked one on top of the other, clora that the lower arte-: of one of two opposite walls of the upper basket is spaced inside, from the upper edge of one of the opposite walls of the lower basket, by a sufficient distance to define, between the two walls thus spaced, an opening allowing access to the contents of the lower of the two baskets thus stacked, each of them being provided;
furthermore, fixing means able to hold them together, when they are stacked, against any substantially horizontal relative displacement.
By way of example, a description of the invention will be given with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a plan view of a form of handling basket of the type defined above and in accordance with the invention; fig. 2 is a view of one end, in the direction of arrow 2, of the basket of FIG. l; 14.4.1965 - 3t.

FIG. 3 is an elevational view showing two baskets identical to that of FIGS. 1 and 2, nested one inside the other; Fig, 4 is an elevational view of two of the same baskets placed in a stacking position in complete coincidence;
fig. 5 is a view similar to that of FIG. 4 showing how, according to the invention, the baskets can be stacked on top of each other in a position of partial coincidence, so as to allow access to the contents of the lowermost of the soft baskets of the stack; fig. 6 is a perspective view showing two baskets placed in the position '' stacking in coincidence partollo of FIG. 5, but supported by a frame with a certain inclination to the horizontal; fig. 7 is a perspective view showing the baskets nested one inside the other, a part of one of the walls of the lower basket being cut away to show the constitution more clearly;
fig. 8 is a perspective view showing two baskets placed one on top of the other in a completely coincident stacking position.
The particular construction shown in the drawings has been developed for the storage of small metal parts in a manner which gives convenient access to the operator of a manufacturing machine or assembly line; for this purpose, a plurality of identical hearths 10 may each be formed, either of stamped metal or of suitable synthetic plastic, pressed or molded.

Each rib 17 extends over the entire depth of the associated side wall, at a location close to the corner formed by each of the side walls and one of the two end walls of the rectangular basket.
The inner face of each rib 17 therefore has a groove 18 having a corresponding V-section,
Each edge 15 of each side wall is indented in line with the groove 18.
The lower end of each of the grooves 18 is formed by a closing partition constituting an extension of the horizontal base 19 of the basket, while the lower face of the closed ends of the gorgos 18,

As can be seen better in FIGS. 2 and 3, each of the end walls 12, 13 of the baskets has a hollow pocket 38 having an opening 39 capable of receiving and presenting a click or other means of identification; in order to prevent this pocket from interfering with the interlocking of the baskets back into each other, the end walls of each of them are hollowed out internally at 40, so that the outer face of each pocket 38 is placed flush with the outer face of the upper part of each end wall, as can be seen clearly in FIG.
3,
Although it is preferable that the end and side walls of each basket are continuous, the invasion in its widest aspect also relates to baskets having open mesh walls of the type described in the patent. supra.,
