New variety of rose "Variety of Hybrid Tea rose rooted with Rose Camellia uní".

The present invention relates to a new and distinct variety of rose from the class of Hybrid Tea, that is to say roses with large flowers.

From a novelty point of view, this Rosé Camélia flowering rose is distinguished by the exceptional grendor of the roses. And the foliage, which is in a perfect sanitary state, To these qualities are added the perfection of the form, the strong duplicating and the purity of the coloria of the flower. This very tender color has excellent resistance to bad weather.

The plant of unusual vigor and robustness is very floriferous throughout the season. As well as serving the decoration of parks and gardens, the generally solitary flowers of this variety can be used in the horticultural industry of cut flower production, for the decoration of interiors.

To obtain this variety, the Applicants Company using its previously acquired genetic knowledge * chose hybridization as parents; the female variety is a seedling resulting from the crossing of the two cultivated varieties Queen Elizabeth and Provence, while the male variety is a seedling resulting from the hybridization of the two cultivated varieties Michèle Meilland and Bayadère.

   The seedling that served as

About 85 identical crosses were made which gave 72 fruits from which about 750 seeds were extracted.

pagnée of an experiment in greenhouse, and led to aonser- Ter only one of these four seedlings. This one was reproduced by ecu8soni; ago succensif to verify that the characteristics were perpetuated without morphological or physiological variations.

It can therefore be said that the characteristics of all plants deriving from the original seedling are fixed through the process of vegetative propagation.

Consequently, any person skilled in the art will be able to reproduce this invention indefinitely if he makes the "T" incision in the bark of a rose rootstock and slips a wood eye therein.

taken from one of the plants which will be marketed later. This escutcheon must be ligated after its insertion under the bark, and receive the care usually practiced for budded rose rootstocks, so that a normally constituted plant develops.
